Depends how “this generation” is defined. If it includes the prime Barca (2008-2012) years then kroos might not be top 5. But if it starts in 2013 then he is.

I was think since 2000, but you may be right and I may have to look a little closer to 2010s.

@@dmontalvan since 2000 is definitely to large of a window. Someone like ronaldinio had almost his entire career after 2000 but his career has almost no overlap with someone like de brunye or even kroos (ronaldinio left europe in 2011). In order to be in the same generation they had to at least be somewhat decent at the same time

@@dmontalvan Most certainly, in my opinion he's the best midfielder ever although some might argue its zidane or iniesta which im completely okay with. They're all world class players
