Thanks Dave!😂😂😂 I have a really old toilet from the 90s (or possibly before that; its a murray) I clogged really bad last time & things are not flushing properly anymore so it's time i get a new toilet (takes 2 flushes to get 3 squares of regular toilet paper down). I'll look into both Toto models mentioned in this video.

What is the best standard height toilet? I have a Kohler with Revolution 360 in chair height for my 1/2 bathroom. My fiancée and I would like a standard height for the master bathroom. We’re have having trouble finding one with modern flushing technology and features like Rev. 360 or Tornado Flush.

If you buy a TOTO drake toilet be sure to buy the TOTO drake that has a syphon jet and steer clear of the TOTO drake washdown model if you don't want to be pissed off all of the time and don't want your wife yelling at you because the TOTO drake washdown model clogged and soaked her backside because the toilet didn't flush properly.I'm serious,as if I wasn't aggravated enough I have to hear the woman that I live with yell at me when ever the toilet fails to flush properly and soaks her backside,UGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!😡😡

I bought a TOTO drake several years ago and I regret to say that the TOTO drake model that I got is the TOTO drake washdown model.I have had nothing but problems because the toilet tends to clog.One of the things that causes the clogs is that the TOTO drake toilet does not have a syphon jet and to make matters worse the TOTO drake washdown model has a ledge which I cannot for the life of me figure out why because the ledge that the TOTO company designed into the TOTO drake washdown model is serving as a choke point because from what I have observed the toilet paper and waste seem to get stuck on the ledge that TOTO designed into the TOTO drake washdown model.I called TOTO customer service and was told that the ledge at the throat of the toilet does not restrict the toilet paper and waste from being flushed but the ledge DOES INDEED obstruct the proper flushing and evacuation of the toilet paper and waste.If the TOTO drake toilet that I have had a syphon jet then that would avoid the toilet clogs because the syphon jet would help the toilet paper and waste to overcome the resistance from the idiotic and totally useless ledge that TOTO designed the TOTO toilets with.The concept is a terrible one because while the TOTO drake toilet has a three inch flush valve the benefit of the larger flush valve is defeated by the ledge that TOTO designers designed into the TOTO toilet.Not everyone that has a high IQ or a masters degree is totally qualified to make good design decisions as the design of the ledge at the TOTO toilet's throat clearly proves.I may not have a high IQ or a masters degree in engineering but I know what I know which is that with a two gallon bucket I can pour water into the TOTO toilet to overcome the clogging that the ledge at the TOTO toilet's throat causes.So instead of a one point eight gallons flush the TOTO drake washdown model requires one point eight gallons of water plus an additional two gallons of water to be poured into the TOTO drake toilet in order to help the toilet paper and waste get past the resistance that the idiotic ledge in the TOTO drake toilet causes."Buyer Beware!!!" If you buy a TOTO drake toilet make sure that what ever model of TOTO drake you choose to buy has a syphon jet,steer clear of the TOTO drake washdown model because you will find yourself aggravated to no end having to use extra water to get the TOTO drake washdown model to evacuate the toilet paper and waste properly.I have done a youtube search for washdown toilets and the washdown toilets are very good but TOTO shot themselves in the foot by not only making the throat of their TOTO drake washdown model narrower but also incorporating a ledge at the toilet's throat so of course the toilet is going to struggle to properly evacuate toilet paper and waste from the toilet without additional water being poured into the toilet.You can call TOTO toilet designers smart but I call them and will continue to call TOTO toilet designers self absorbed idiots for coming up with such a ridiculous garbage toilet design.I spent five hundred dollars plus tax on the TOTO drake toilet that I have now and I had to go and spend another three hundred and fifty somewhat dollars to buy a TOTO drake toilet that has a syphon jet plus the extra money that I have had to spend on the extra water that I had to use in order to get the toilet paper and waste to properly evacuate the toilet so of course I'm totally pissed off about the whole thing.The low water line in the TOTO drake washdown model doesn't do anybody any favors because the water line is too low which causes the TOTO drake washdown model to require constant cleaning of the inside of the bowl.I have a few very choice words for TOTO but youtube does not allow for the kind of choice words that I have for the idiot designers at the TOTO company.Think about it,the space that the idiot design engineers at TOTO used to make that idiotic ledge at the toilet's throat was not present that would leave more room inside of the toilet to allow unrestricted passage to toilet paper and waste to evacuate the toilet but no,the engineers at TOTO just had to go and prove what total idiots they really are.None of the other toilet brands use such a design flaw like TOTO does by having a ledge at the toilet's throat so it's high time the idiot engineers at TOTO got a clue about proper toilet design.
