Only on her AOE skills, her single-target skills still use P. Atk.

She's packed. Her AoE attacks convert to magic damage, and that's her main strength. But she also has a ton of single-target skills for physical scenarios. I don't know how she's played physically, but you can set her up on the fly.

Yes, her AoE damage is M.DMG but the damage calculation is from P.Atk

​@@luizeduardo1706yeah but for the burst I feel like I can manage with Acambe oriented team and prefer to go for Kvare, I have too much destroyers in the first place anyway. And yes I cannot afford to get them all. I would be better of maxing out other high tier units for variety for ex. 5* Auguste would be a mini Tristan right?

@@krawecki8880 You can use Auguste, it wouldn't be as good but if sacrifices are to be made skipping Tristan is less terrible than skipping Saf Alter or Kvare.

Gonna disagree a bit with you Hawky. Saying she isn't good for the new ToA is a bit misleading because this is the first time it's being run in TW/CN. She may not have been among the most used for this months but there's nothing to say she won't be better suited for the next one. You wouldn't say Taair is no good for the new ToA because he also wasn't among the most popular characters for it. Also for your next Tristan preview vid you should point out the distinction between her infinite unyielding and berserk state. Her being unkillable lasts for 2 turns at most but her berserk state lasts a little longer then that.

Yea kinda the point I was making in the video. First season of ToA 2.0 definitely not going to be representative things will change. But alot of ppl see tristan bad for this toa n think she is worse now. Good point didn't delve too much into her kit here.

The difference is that speed manipulation and NRG restoration is core for many things in the game, Tristan is still a good pull because you can use her in those new job towers but the meta for TOA is unlikely to shift back towards speedrunning and she was built for that.

I wouldn't say she's a skip because she's still an amazing DPS, but Saffiyah Alter (Eh, this might be a bit shaky because word seems to have it that her position might be in danger) and Kvare are still better overall picks.
