This is the difference between 2pac and drill rappers Pac has music about everything he doesnt use beefing to sell records hit em up was realeased 5 months after all eyes on me its not part of the album 2pac is still the most complete impactful influential insparational rap artist ever he did more in 5 yrs than those who have been around for 20 to 35 yrs his music stands the test of time

@@laquandaniels222 Who shot ya was about him.. that was a Keith Murray and Mary j song puffy ask Keith Murray for that and he gave it to biggie.. puffy used biggie.. pac was set up by jimmy henchmen and puffy.. is why pac came as he did.. biggie didn't know what was going on.. that is why suge jumped on puffy while pac was in prison.. as he said he loves NYC he's from there.. people need to watch his last interview on vibe and suge podcast.. also gene deal puffy started this whole thing.. biggie was going to be with pac but sign to puffy..

Exactly, 2pac could sell records talking about anything: love for his mother (Dear Mama), love for his sistas (Keep Ya Head Up, Brenda's Got a Baby), love for the homies (I ain't madatcha, old school, pour out a little liquor), social injustice and struggles ( changes, white man's world, trapped, etc.) there are a million, million themes.... love for cities (Old school, to live and die in LA), violence/riding (ambitionz, hit em up, hail mary, 2 of amerikaz most wanted), personal struggles, etc. etc.

Fun fact... When Tupac was alive Jay-Z was in Las Vegas supposed to do was show well apparently Jay-Z was so scared of Tupac because he heard he was looking for him that he would not leave the hotel room until Suge found out call Jay at the hotel room and told him he's all right he's good to go Pac said he can do his show and leave and that's exactly what he did lmao

As someone that lived through the era, the thing about the loss of 2pac physically, is that 2pac was the definition of an artist. He set the tone in hip hop. And followed no one. He had no interest in fitting in. No fakes was getting on back then. You would be discredited immediately. All the successful had to bring the 'A' game to the table every outing.

Nah hip hop has included battling since day one. It fell off because ppl put money, endorsements, strippers, and drugs over the art. Once social media took over hip hop became nothing more than a social media trend that people with less talent can capitalize on....and thst also lowered the bar for industry talent in general.

I wish when you guys do a reaction you would educate yourself about the artist. The reason hip-hop is falling off is that rap today doesn't rap about anything. The rappers before gave this new generation a platform to speak the truth about the streets and good times. Tupac made a comment that when hip-hop stops speaking with a purpose then we end up with the stuff we have today.
