I know 3 non verbals that had 3rd term ultrasounds at increased rate. Its 100% true and everyone knows it in the medical science community. Unfortunately we only have “doctors”. 😢They are just vendors

The data are the data. The data says that depth of ultrasound is associated with increased rates of autism. You can't see that data, ask the question "Should we conclude, then, that we should be careful how deep we set our ultrasound scanners?" and then respond with "Almost certainly not." That is completely unscientific, based on NOTHING but optimism. The data are the data. The data are that depth of ultrasound is associated with higher rates of autism. That's the data. What should happen INSTEAD of simply dismissing the data--- especially when a concerning result like this is found that has potential negative implications for literally tens of millions of children a year--- is that a larger, more comprehensive study with 10x or 50x number of patients than in the original cohort should be begun trying to extrapolate and refute or prove that result. Again, simply dismissing such a dramatically important result out of hand with a flippant "certainly not" is completely unscientific. Reply

What worries me is the effect that ultrasound has been shown to have on mice brains in utero. One large and very meticulous study from Yale shows very conclusively that it causes brain damage in fetal mice. Presently the medical profession is going on the assumption that this effect will not apply to humans.

Was the study conducted on mice using the same strength as what would be used on a human baby?

Avoid ultrasound. Just another cool technology parents like to control and plan a gender reveal party. Big cash cow for medical folks, $300-$1000 per scan charge to insurance.

@@dolcepescas6153 when the baby miscarries, often times, a dead fetus will begin to make its entry out in the form of blood, mucus, fetal material, globs, etc. You don’t necessarily need an ultrasound to look at it. I would agree that you could use an ultrasound for rare moments to verify something.
