Bro read confession of the witch from the manga if you think umineko is bad cuz it didn't show you the solution, i don't blame you for thinking its fantasy drama because it's legit one of the hardest mystery to solve in fiction, so you pretty much just lost to beato lol

Umineko is horrible. Now you know why there is so much Higurashi while Umineko has nothing else even though it has "such a large universe and a variety of characters". The only people who like this are Western w0k3 people and people who are easily manipulated by the opinions of others. Japanese hated Umineko, and the author even picked a fight with fans. So he had to create a manga as an apology and for damage control. But trust had already been lost. After Higurashi, the author never did anything good or that was really successful or that wasn't controversial. You look at Umineko in the top 3~5 of VNDB, while in JP it's not even top 100. The author is a fraud, there are a lot of VNs with EXTREMELY HORRIBLE ratings, he has to keep putting "WTC" in the titles so that this doesn't happen again, while once again he continues to feed on Higurashi and his characters, the only good thing what he did. The only good parts of Umineko were things he didn't do: the voice acting and the soundtrack.

@nvllvs It makes no sense, because Umineko is practically entirely meta. Both the parts in the mansion and in Beatrice's "magical world" are not real, it's just fiction. they are also part of why Umineko is bad.
