Is Underpinning Required?

Do you have cracks in your house? Sometimes inexperienced engineers and builders that sell underpinning jump straight to a recommendation for underpinning without a thorough investigation of the nature of the movement and damage. Why is it that when you only sell hammers, every problem looks like a nail?
Not every house that has moved needs underpinning.
Take a moment to work out why your house is moving. Has something changed lately? Maybe a pipe under the house has suddenly started leaking?

To help decide whether you need underpinning to stabilise your house, get advice from an experienced structural forensic engineer and arrange a thorough investigation to help determine if underpinning is required.
