As the team prepares to trek down to Berea South - The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia for you commoners - the predictions about how they will fare are starting to roll in.
Yup, that’s prognostication based upon training camp rosters, not necessarily the final 53-man roster, which, in the world of NFL football is never final. It’s a game we all play. Or we play the schedule game whilst scrolling through teams’ respective matchups.
To say that expectations are high amongst the faithful would be an understatement. (7) Cleveland Browns (10-7): The won 11 games and nearly the division in 2023 despite a slew of major injuries, most notably QB Deshaun Watson (shoulder) and RB Nick Chubb (ACL) missing most of the season with ailments to, respectively, the most concerning parts of their bodies from a professional standpoint. It’s imperative for Watson to finally find his footing in this offense, and new WR2 Jerry Jeudy and last season’s top-ranked defense are good things to lean on. However with the Bengals the only 2023 non-playoff team among Cleveland’s final five opponents, the Browns can’t afford a slow start - especially since they’re stuck with the NFL’s toughest schedule (their opponents with a .547 winning percentage in 2023).

I been a Browns fan since 1980 and is still a fan, one thing you're not going to hear me do is down a team that's trying or down a person who's hated for the wrong reasons. Deshaun will have a record season but the hating will not stop until his contract is over

Peyton Manning said it the best he said qb is a rhythm position playing 2bames getting hurt and trying to come back for a game isn’t going to be good. From the games he did play last year the only one that was bad was Pittsburgh. I think he’s going to ball out if he stays on the field the media is making him look worse than he played last year

I really want the team to do well, but unfortunately they made a huge mistake when they traded for watson. I'm not one of those stupid fans that say" this is the browns year" every single year and have been wrong every single year. I'm a realist. And I can be honest when I talk football. Some fans can not and they think everything has to be positive talk. No be real, criticize when the team ain't doing well. And since we traded for deshaun this team ain't won a single playoff game. It is what it is. The team is great, the qb stinks

Last year alone watson ranked 29th In completion percentage, 24th in passer rating, 25th in qbr, 27th in pff grade, and 29th in yards per game. He was a bottom 8 qb or worse I every single per game passing stat. That means he was bad. The team won because our number 1 ranked defense holding 3 of his 4 wins to a grand total of 6 points.
