Jen Cohen is supposed to be a top notch athletic director, they hired the best defensive coaching staff on the country, Lincoln Riley is (was) considered one of the best coaches in the country, what is every one talking about! Of course they care about football!! Their building a top notch football facility. If they don't win a national championship, then they don't care about football. It's HARD!! But they are trying, believe me. Let's let this play out and then we'll have our opinions..

@timprangley6907 recently heard an interview with sarkisian, inspiring, uplifting, genuine , I could understand why he has no recruiting problem, riley is vague, squishy , and insincere, I can see why the recruiting problem , lm a genuine sc fan since 1972, love sc but the truth is the truth, he ..riley..is no mckay, robinson, or carroll, seems to be more larry smith , helton....hope I'm wrong but I don't think so....that being said the defense will be greatly improved , but not because of riley....

From what I read SC is going to have 20 million dollars for the athlete. The NIL money has to come corporate business or boosters. SC booster have pay for the updates at the Colosseum a few years back and sports facilities on campus that’s going on now. SC doesn’t appear to have uncle Phil like Oregon are sugar daddy like Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M, Miami, and so on .more. The SC fans sound so stupid and petty when criticize the president and the A.D.

Man, Tim stop, avoiding the obvious hiring a kick ass defensive staff, but not pumping a ton of money in the NIL program is like buying a exotic luxury sports car and put an unleaded gas in it if you can’t afford proper fuel for a vehicle like that it’s just gonna sit in your driveway and you won’t have any fun. That’s our program right now.

The 2017 Rose Bowl aside, we have not been relevant for 15 years. Never been to the CFP, and our chances of making it this year are 2.5%. 1 in 40. I'd say move down to FCS for 5 years but we couldn't win consistently in the Missouri Valley Conference. WE STINK. Yes I've had season tix for over 30 years and yes I have earned 2 degrees including my PhD from USC.

Agree. I laugh how women's sports are totally dependent up football but want to pretend that they are on a equal level. FUND YOURSELVES. What people need to understand is that there is a universe of difference between the sole driver behind the wheel in Eugene and the many drivers in the front seat at USC. If Phil Knight wanted to paint the entire campus pink, it would be pink within a week. USC has way too many chiefs for that kind of flexibility and quick response time. Too many cooks spoil the broth, and not everyone at SC is pulling the same way. No problem like that in Eugene, no more than Berlin in 1940.

Or......Lincoln Riley just isn't a great coach. He's a good offensive coordinator, and of course a really good QB coach, but he's just not a great head coach. He was handed the keys to a Ferrari at Oklahoma and still couldn't win a playoff game, and now he's going into a much tougher conference..Guess we'll find out.

Riley is a QB coach. period. He doesn't understand OL/RB, he doesn't understand defense (for sure), he. doesn't understand STs, He doesn't understand in game coaching. He is a farce. USC needs to cut him loose and elevate Entz. As for Folt, I agree with the caller. She needs to be fired. She's beneath the job and has done nothing to indicate otherwise. She was woke hire. As for cohen, she screwed up and needs to step up her game, but she deserves a little more time. But her clock is now clicking.

I don’t think you guys understood what Adam was saying. He is saying that our president is not interested in loading up the football program with all the money we needs because she’s spreading all the funds throughout all the programs whether the program is good or not which makes no sense because all power 5 schools the football program brings in the most money out of all sports programs at the school. Home games produce 75K seats ticket sales no other athletic program in the school is comes anywhere close to that. You can have all programs outside the football program combined won’t even be half of that and that’s not including concession stands memorabilia, parking, Tv contracts. Majority of the money should be put into our football program. Other sports programs been eaten off the football money for years. There’s no reason why we don’t have a kick ass NIL Program and if she is trying to spread out the money to other athletic programs especially womens programs that’s going to be taking from the football program which generates the most revenue for the school is simply not right and she needs to go.

You need both... by best example for good coaching would be USC 2016 and 2017. Those teams had the players with the right coaches in place.

USC doesn't win National Titles in 2004-05 without Pete Carroll and Norm Chow. Both Great Coaches. Pete Carroll took Players from another coaching staff like Troy Polamalu and Carson Palmer and won 11 games and a BCS bowl his second year.

They could have walked in to the end zone with a play action pass the safeties were so close to the line. My point is you can have a great staff but you still need players, and top notch players. SC had those too when they were winning. If you keep losing the tip notch players because NIL isn’t living up to its word then you’re going to have problems. You won’t get the top talent in Cali either. That’s just the new reality. Winning tittles will be your other problem.
