i have observed this actually. imagine the reaver skin for example, costing a 1775vp while the guns with no effects are way below 1775. but nowadays 1775vp can only get u the skins like neptune (no finisher and lame effects) while getting a skin with good effects will cost u about 2.1k vp and above. valorant indeed increased their prices lol

That’s some impressive market research mixed with finance right there. So interesting to see bschool concepts in real life. But it’s nothing new. I mean I also play the sims 4 which is a guilty pleasure of mine mixed with slice of life, but they too charge astronomical prices for everything, even for adding the weather feature. Yeah a lot of people will be pissed by this, but truthfully they are not the first and won’t be the last to do this. In my opinion, it just shows how Valorant has grown as a game. Lets just hope that the extra money they are earning will lead to better maps and better agents in the future

But this doesn´t take away from the fact that Riot still wants you to either pay way to much for Radianite (To the point of where the new Vandal skin would cost about 70$ with all animations and colors) or buy and complete the Battlepass (Which will also cost you atleast 10$ + Time ingame, or another like 100$ if you buy levels like streamers do.) And all this for a skin that is still priced higher than the others, just so you´d be allowed to buy extra animations... This may not directly effect you or me. But this is still a shitty system at best.

Love the games, but who do they think they are making skins cost even close to what they are. They could easily drop the prices in half, and face no losses. In fact, by doing so, it would encourage players to buy more skins, instead of just waiting for a new battle pass to drop so they can get a few for just 10 bucks.
