I relate with the sickness lmao, I've been sick about 4 times already this year rip. I've always been interested in this game but have always been skeptical and am still skeptical even after watching the video lmao. Ah damn sorry to hear that man! I tend to get sick pretty often, although I've to alter my diet a bit over the last year and have found that to be helpful. Yeah, I'd say it's a solid backlog, good to pick up if you're ever looking for something really simple. It also features over 200 trophies between all the DLC. Could be a fun platinum for the channel perhaps! And thanks dude, I'm feeling much better!

Vampire Survivors feels like the perfect game to play when you're sick. I didn't expect to enjoy it as much as I did but here we are; I even played some of the dlcs 😄 I do feel it's run its course after some time, and I don't feel like returning to it, but that's not really a drawback for me.

I've not, but thanks for the heads up! There are so many trophies I still haven't gotten that I figured the game probably still hides quite a bit that I haven't discovered. Maybe I'll find some time to jump back and dig a little deeper.

​@@Wilson-108yeah, vampire survivor have this simplicity, but if you go to complete the game and unlock everything you will feel that the first 0-10 hours was more like a demo than the game itself, and that will be the moment the game will show his true colors.

What do you think about the whole they copied alot of the sprites from Castlevania complaint I've heard. I don't know if it should matter unless Konami gave a shit but it does feel a bit weird. Also have you tried co-op at all? I've thought about it but convincing someone to play this with me seems semi unlikely.

I think it would bother me more if I had more Castlevania experience. I've played a number of the games, but not enough to know all the sprites by heart. It does seem like it would be better to just create your own experience, but like you mentioned, Konami seems to support them. I'm curious to see what this dev's next game will be!

They did not copied them. If they did Konami would likely sue them. They made their own sprites that look really similar to Castlevania ones but they are "original" so it falls into the fair use law. It's more that the game look is inspired by Castlevania games. Also there are characters and enemies that are original and don't have any similarities with Castlevania. There are also some unofficial fan made Castlevania games (that are even better than some official ones) like Castlevania: The Lecarde Chronicles that used the same method of making original sprites that are actually copies, but because the games are free it also falls into a fair use.
