I enjoyed your short video in and around Port Vila….my late husband and I lived there for 4 years from 1985. So many changes with hotels, casinos, lots more shops, more traffic. We loved Vanuatu and its beautiful people…always smiling and laughing. Unfortunately I have never been back as it’s a wee bit far from Scotland! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Vanuatu scenery is very amazing, the hotel is surreal the climate is cool and calm, very healthy environment to take a vacation especially in summer, the anglo- franco culture adds very exciting blend the area.

Taxis are expensive but they take you directly to where you want unlike the buses do for 150vt. Did you meet and talk to any of the locals? We're a cool bunch. Thank you for giving us 10/10 :)

Did you know that, back in the day and true to Britain's insular tradition, the British Resident Commissioner of The New Hebrides lived on Iririki Island (before the resort was built of course) and travelled to and from his office in the town daily by Government launch? Nice Video by the way. It shows the massive changes to the town since I lived there in the mid 1970s.
