Bro, sorry to say in this manner, either you are ignorant about serious issues with Vespa, or you have been "bribed" to make videos that speak good about Vespa. Only one of the situation can be true. I say this as I have owned a Vespa LX 125 for 6 years. While "good-looks"(it is subjective though) and build-quality is definitely a good point, these are the 'only good points' that the scooter has. Everything else is negative point. The biggest headache is availability of spare parts. Vespa does not distribute its spare parts in open market. So you are forced to buy it from the authorized service center only. However, even the authorized service center does not have all spare parts in stock. Many times, basic spare parts like air filter elements, petrol cock are out of stock with no assurance of when they shall be available. It may take 2 days or two weeks or more than that. Because of this, it is nearly impossible to repair your bike at the local convenient mechanic. You have to take the scooter to the authorized service center only on every occassion. The spare parts are also costly for no special reason. The petrol cock costs about Rs. 1000, where as that for activa, access, ntorq, jupiter is in the range of 250 to 500. The mechanical work quality of authorized service center is also not good. Once I had a faulty petrol cock that was causing me very-low mileage. But the authorized service center failed to detect it on two ocassions. Everytime they would say that they have fiffled with some setting on the carbeurator or serviced the clutch and that I should try the bike for few days and then come back of problem is not solved - as if I am a jobless guy with ample time to keep visiting the service center. Finally, the problem was identifed by a local mechanic. The authorized service center purposely did not supply the spare parts and instead told me to tell them what problem the local mechanic has identifed so that they will solve it. So, there wanted spoon-feeding of diagnosis from a local mechanic. What a shame. The mileage is worst. I have got single-digit to max. 25 kmpl in my BS4 Vespa LX 125 which I have owned for 6 years. Anybody who is considering buying a vespa should note that many vespa showrooms and authorized service centers have been shut down due to low sales. Sales are low due to unreasonable and unjustifiable high-price and poor after-sales services, esp because of wrong spare-part policy of the company. So if the authorized service center in your city shuts down, you will be forced to take the scooter to another city for service. Because the number of customers is very less, the whole showroom and service center network survives on a small customer-base, which results in higher average price per customer, making things expensive for the customer. Vespa is a white-elephant. You will have to pay more money to buy it, maintain it and keep it running but it the end, its the company that takes credit foir being "premium". Its not just about the money, but you also have to bear headaches despite paying higher money. When you buy an expensive product, you expect that company will treat you well. But company treats you like a captive slave who is forced to pay more for the initial purchase, then higher service cost, and then more expensive spare parts - that too only through their authorized service centers. Vespa is too crappy to be compared to Activa/Access/Fascino/Jupiter. It is a moral crime to sell Vespa to any innocent buyer. I have owned a Vespa LX 125 for 6 years. All the people who are saying that Vespa is a premium scooter and should be compared to cheap activas should realize that merely good-looks and higher price does not make it premium. After paying a higher-price, customer expects hassle-free ownership, not issues like spare part monopoly, unavailability of spare parts, poor quality mechanical service.

Maintenance cost is very high and unreliable. I sold it and bought Activa 125 grey colour. In future Tata bye bye Vespa. Ram Ram pareshan ho Gaya tha main.

Build quality of Vespa scooter is quite impressive. Only problem is service. Piaggio should ensure proper service is provided by the dealer. Also service is required to be outsourced to inculcate competition between dealer and service provider.

The segment of Activa and Vespa is completely different.I agree with you that Activa's service, spare parts are available everywhere, maintenance cost is also very less but in terms of looks, build quality,high speed stability ,spare parts are long lasting, long riding both Vespa and Aprilia are best . Cons- less mileage, less service center,spare parts availablity and cost is high

Vespa Scooters, in India have non uniform front tyre wear, there is something, possibly the single sided swingarm or a general defect tjat causes this, so one hald of the section along the circumference wears out faster as compared to the other, in most cases the half section away from the swing arm wears out faster.

Issue is that what happens with a removable bucket for servicing...there is a gap from below which you can put yiur hand through and enter the engine bay, this is the main issue as rats enter from there and eat wiring. Same with Superbikes inside the fairings.
