The big problem for Thunder or Rail is that, most players have thunder or rail protection the protection module trends; they are still quite deadly if the foes don't have the protection, of course up close their slow reload will usually get you dead. ps: I joke with myself while play, "Always a lousy viking thunder random shot kills you while you fight others, hate them."

To be fair, although they’re not perfect, things like augments, overdrives, drones, and grenades mix up the gameplay and keep things interesting. Playing the same simple game with no changes to gameplay can get quite boring after a few months. Depends on who you ask though.

They really want Classic Tanki, but they are unfair to regular Tanki. I mean, I was there back then and to be honest, it was more stressful haha The game was very simple and ended up being boring (it still is today, but it used to be even more so). If someone had 50 protection against you, they were basically immortal. The good thing is that you could have a powerful tank, saving crystals, but it was a difficult task. Nowadays, no one is completely safe from dying, even with strong protections. There are builds you can do. I like everything that was added. The problem is the balance and the difficulty of accessing it because it is pay to win.

Oh those old good kits, I remember I had to save for it like at least one month hard grinding, but man, the moment I bought my dream kit, I felt invincible. Hope they bring it again, I definitely miss it. I could imagine you making a new series with trying different turret + hull combos, maybe with drone and augment as well, like you did when you spun the wheel to get a random combo.

I use the Thunder + Ares combo and it's very good as long as you use that augment that makes you explode when you die + that augment you used on thunder. With luck you can deal 4k critical damage to the enemy with the explosion. I use the drone booster to increase damage and I can easily stay in the top 3 in matches.

Also I hate that players exist in TO that deploy insanely amount of mines in CTF. That fcking sucks. They should limit the maximum amount of mines for each player.

And do you think you can survive even with Full Mine Protection all over the Flag where you need to pass a distance for around 20 to 30 Meters before you reach the flag? This is ridiculous.

There are countermeasures against that, you can equip Mammoth breach through mine barrier easily, or hopper to just jump over them, hunter/wasp/hopper OD can disable them, grenades too, there is mine protection , healing augments etc.. lot of options

Adaptive reload is a far better augment to use. Especially in siege or control points

I still do pretty good with Isida (no augment) viking (anti lose drugs augment) defender combo. But Its the only combo I use so experience plays into it. And there are still cases of camper heavy games that are a bummer.

I only use this combo when i need to complete a specific mission like "Killing 100 opponents with Thunder" because i only have the "Adrenaline" augment in this turret. Im interested in a good combo with Isida or Twins.

Try using paladin or hunter these are good for using twins and isida. I have upgraded my hammer and viking max now it's thunder and paladin

The thing is at the first ranks its really easy to play really good in matchmaking. If you get a certain amount of ranks it gets harder and harder.

This is due to the fact that you are starting to be pushed to high ranks, and due to the fact that you did not have time to upgrade your weapons, you are forced to donate to the game. It was for this reason and greed that the developers once decided to speed up the pumping process.

You can use either Firebird or Freeze with Viking hull and Brutus drone, it's a very good and cheap combination due to Brutus being 1/10 of the price of other drones. You can switch Brutus with either Booster or Trickster drones if you have a good amount of crystals.

The kits were also valuable because of the paints with profile protection from the gun that was in this kit. I've been saying for a long time now that augments have totally destroyed the game, along with the trashcans they are the two most hated updates "EVER" to come into the game. TO will only get worse as the months go by because of the greed associated with the game. Going back to a classic version of the game just to get back at a couple of rouge knockoffs of TO is not going to improve "THIS" version of TO. For the current version to improve they need to remove augments AND start not only listening to genuine player feedback, but also acting on it. Until this happens, TO will just keep getting worse and these rouge knockoffs will keep gaining traction until "THEIR" player base out numbers TO's. Apart from augments (which I f@@@@@g hate) I have a maxed out garage and the truth is I really do not play all that much on it because of a number of factors, but augments and trashcans are way ahead of all the other annoying, pathetic crap this game now has. The classic version, regardless of what year they regress back to means nothing, It's the present version they should be addressing because It's a complicated, OP, money grabbing pile of shite in It's present form.
