Also little garden was completely carried by luffy and usopp, vivi definitely didnt do anything that significant neither in little garden or alabasta. Also her intel is exactly what put the strawhats under his radar. all she did was be a burden that could hardly defend herself and just put them in more danger without even really saving her city in the end and leaving it up to luffy and pel as she just hopelessly stood and watched

People underestimate vivi, she is the proper definition of a princess, she cares for her kingdom and her family and friends, she was carrying sucha burden on her shoulders when she had to go undercover in her own country and join an organisation out to get her Kingdom and cause a civil war. The way One Piece set the final saga, I think it's really plausible for her to join the crew once again for last stretch of the story. Her heritage as Nefertari and chased by Imu sama make her more relevant than ever. As for powerscaling wise, I can see her become stronger if Oda want her to be (just like Coby with honesty impact). Her royalty status also allows her to gain entry into impossible places for pirates, like the Reverie before Wano, which served such important reveals that Morgan stowed her away because of her significance and impact on the world. In that story Vivi was more a secondary protagonist to Luffy. Since her goals are more short term, she came off as less necessary. That said; once the arc was over she can become something of an ace in the hole that Oda can call back to as the stakes increase. I mean; the Straw Hats now have the nobility of an entire country on their side, all they'd have to do is call and ask and, provided they could do so without endangering Alabasta, Vivi and her dad would probably bend over backwards to help them out.

I’m sure I’ll get hate here but I love vivi as a character and after catching up to the anime it’s awesome to see her coming back into the story but I would feel a bit disappointed if she did end up as the last straw hat member not because she’s a bad character because she isn’t but because she’s a character that hasn’t been a part of the main story in like 15 years, so having her be an amazing character in her introduction ark then to being absent all the way till wano and then going okay she’s a straw hat now just feels strange, instead her role as a world leader who’s an ally with the straw hats feels more fitting, she had the choice to join them and leave her country but she didn’t and for her to do that now seems odd. And also the fact that she really doesn’t seem like she would be able to defend herself in any combat situation, sure we have weaker characters like usopp and chopper but even compared to them vivi seems so weak. Her power of talking wouldn’t matter if she was on the crew or the leader of a country, she could still be a negotiator. She’s still a great character I just feel the last spot should be a bit more special, idk who would fill it though SPOILERS MAYBE THEYLL GET A GIANT NOW WERE GOING TO ELBAF, it seems like there’s usually at least 1 on the big crews

Vivi told Luffy he didn't deserve to be captain and he was a terrible person just because he was worried for his friends life. Luffy is a simple creature but she should have apologized. She may be important but after I heard her say that I lost respect for her and think she isn't as great as she could have been

Vivi not having an impact? She singlehandedly taught luffy to be polite and talk before acting. She doesn't have much impact as part of the crew anymore and carries much more weight as a ruler in a kingdom, but her influence allowed luffy to see how asking questions, getting data, and being diplomatic is actually good. Also, of anyone who was ever on the crew, she taught him more completely and faster than anyone else, including Rayleigh, who barely managed to teach him anything, because luffy is extremely dense. Luffy never once questioned her, goofed around or doubted her advice. It seems like nothing, but even Zoro has to argue with him to deal with yiu know who in Water 7, as Luffys solution was to ignore it, which was inappropriate and unreasonable.

if she was in the crew, YES, she was practically useless because she cried or was mad most of the time, hell the only time(as herself) she really fought she got her ass kicked by crocodile, people only want her in the crew because of the bond she has with luffy and the others, she would be more useful helping luffy and the others from behind the scenes rather then the frontline

Sure Vivi wasn't that strong compare to the Straw hat crew, but she managed to rise to mid level agent in Baroque world. Despite her background as a princess. Her strength were also her sheer force of will and determination.

I’m still waiting for the answer whether or not Vivi is significant. Let me pitch in. With ur 2 reasons in mind, Vivi is actually annoying and insignificant as of right now. We don’t know what Oda plans to do with her considering she’s a “straw hat pirate.” So far, her only use is for Luffy to become pirate king through his high influence on a whole kingdom
