The apple didn't fall too far from the tree when it comes to Wallace because his Dad Semo was an amazing player for Manu Samoa back in the day. Wallace has a bit of Michael Jones in him, great worker, great ball carrier, link play, rugby nous and excellent handling skills but to be that complete backrower he needs a bit of Jerry Collins, Jerome Kaino defensive mongrel. He has all the attributes to be a long term All Black. The All Blacks selectors were right in picking Wallace ahead of Hoskins Sotutu, Hoskins is a deadly attacking player but he's a lazy defender and behind the scenes he has a real immature attitude and his social media posts reflect that.

I think both teams have alot of improvement in them. The All Blacks are not the clinical accurate, ruthless team of bygone days...but they are building. Wallace just keeps getting better his reading of the game and posistional play has come on leaps and bounds. Wallace Sititi is already a game changer, and difference maker. Can he be like Michael Jones a standout among his peers? I actually think this England team is 4th best, probably above current France. So for the kiwis to beat them consistently definitely cements NZ as a world leading team. Keep in mind that the last 4 games against the Springboks have either been played in South Africa on SA home soil or played with a red card, and you gain some perspective that the All Blacks are sort of flying below the radar.

@@whitebear5405 New Zealand as 4th is crazy. They pretty much outplayed the Springboks with only 14 guys in last years world cup and they competed pretty well in south africa despite being a new set up with a new coach. France have dropped off since the world cup. They were well beat by Ireland this year, couldn't get a win over Italy and lost to Argentina. They're still really good but without Dupont playing they're not at their peak. Now whether they're better than England or not is a big call, England have pushed NZ close in all three games (2 of them away games on the other side of the world). England actually beat Ireland. Last time they met it was France 33 vs England 31 , but that was on french home soil so the sides seem pretty close.

Stephen Donald: "Now they've got belief that they can win the tight ones." Dude, the Poms missed three straightforward drop goal attempts and a straightforward penalty shot at goal. England snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. It was not anything that NZ did in the last 20 that won us the game - it was England folding like a tea towel. There's no way we can rely on such great luck in either of the next two matches. The All Blacks of ten years ago would have destroyed a team as incompetent as this England team (minus their very good defence) by 20 points.

Dropped the highball that ALMOST resulted in a try. Missed coverages a lot. Threw a forward pass offload in 22. These are crucial mistakes especially for a 15. - Caleb surprisingly had a decent game. Made great tackles. Great runs. Great in breakdown security. They need to use his wing way more v Ireland. And obviously his knack for silly penalties needs to go! - Ardie needs adjustments to his role. Way too unstructured and he looks lost out there almost.
