Is Walmart not stocking DC Multiverse..?

Discussing rumors that some Walmarts are not carrying DC Multiverse anymore...

It’s not a myth. THAT exact figure right there at 1:28, the first Gal Gadot Wonder Woman, is the last figure seen in my nearest Walmart about 3 or 4 years ago, then they stopped carrying DC Multiverse figures completely ever since. I’m in a small town, and Walmart is the only store I have here and it never carries DC Multiverse figures for years. It’s kinda frustrating because about 97% of DC Multiverse figures I have are ordered online. 3% of them are found from other stores 30 minute drive from here. 😢

The Walmarts in my area are very hit or miss, mostly miss. I think the employees grab them, either for themselves or to scalp.

Hey Bones! I tend to just stick to the comic shops here in NY for some of the cooler figures or collectables. Sometimes I'll find something in a Bestbuy. Always a bummer to hear about stores not stocking items though.

5 out of my 8 Wal-Mart super centers don't have any dc what so ever not even spin master... makes it a real pain in the ass for the Wal-Mart exclusives, but I will say out of all the companies doing Wal-Mart exclusives McFarlane are the only ones I've ever actually found in stores!

Like yourself, I live in an area with 6-8 Walmart stores. At first, all of them carried the Multiverse line but I noticed that earlier this year, 4 of those stores began clearancing them out and stop carrying the line altogether. I hope this isn't the beginning of a trend.

I only have one Wal-Mart I visit regularly, but I’ve had good luck finding new DC Multiverse figures there lately. I was especially happy to find The Question a couple weeks back. That said, I’ve never seen a single Collectors Edition figure at my store.

I work at Walmart and there are two spots in my store that dc multiverse figures are stocked. One is a spot in the electronics department with the other collectibles like NECA figures and Anime Figures. The other is in the action figure isle in the toy department. The one in electronics only has one of each of the last phygital wave ( worlds at war Superman, longbow green arrow, atom) and the one in the toys section which is exclusively the last few Batman releases (bullseye bats, Hugo Strange, ‘66 bats, Dick Grayson Batman) but those were stocked a month and a half ago. And the thing is, some of those figures sold pretty quickly but the first time those phygital figures were stocked it was me who bought the first batch we had. Other wise they would’ve just peg warmed. For months before that the only DC Multiverse in the whole store was a single phygital blue and grey rebirth batman

In multiple Walmarts in New York I’ve not seen many mcfarlane figures. I don’t go often to Walmarts since they usually haven’t been good for a few years already.

To some extent, it may be true or it may not that Walmart is not stocking dc multiverse figures. Every time I go to my local walmarts, nothing. And I have 4 in my area. Could be that I get to beat to it. It is sort of a small town. People know each other here. So I got tired of going completely. Targets too. I went back to ordering online and wait til it gets here. At least I know that I am going to get it. I guess ordering from ebay isn't so bad either. I mean, spending money on gas and striking out pretty much is almost the same thing. But atleast an order is coming thru.

I have 8 Walmarts and 6 Targets. They all carry Mcfarlane figs. In fact theyve recently added more lines in the collector section. Certain stores get newer waves more than some. Im trying for the new Lantern and the other new one. Walmart has also been stocking new Super Powers waves. The Rag-Man wave is in the collector section at the Target nearest me. All 3 figures and all 3 Platinums. The new LOTR figs are hitting now and those things are beautiful.

It's getting to the point where most Walmarts in my area just won't put anything DC Multiverse on the shelves. I use to check one Walmart near my work everyday when that one Jay Garrick came out and never saw it and I just happened to check clearance and there was 2 there and I know the had the Platinum because the sticker was stuck to the shelf but I know for a fact Walmart never put those figures on the toy aisle

There is usually one store in a metro area that gets the releases. The others are hit or miss and some only get releases near Christmas. With that said, I have never seen any of my 8 Walmarts stock the Collector Editions.

I never got to Walmart I have to order whatever I can get online or second hand market for those exclusives! Surprisingly target and Best Buy are always stocked the newest items! And even GameStop is stepping up I’ve seen the new huntress there yesterday

None of the Walmarts near me even carry DC toys yet alone McFarlane stuff. The targets only get their gold label exclusives and nothing else. Never saw the manhunter platinum wave or the new platinum wave

I only have 1 local Walmart and no targets within an hour radius and I live In the countryside and my 1 walmart has never and doesn't have or stock any mcfarlane or marvel legends but they have transformers and wrestling figures and sucks because 100% of my collecting for the past 20 years has to be purchased online...praying I can find the new Geoforce & Effigy but having to buy exclusives online cost double or triple and all these gold label, platinum, chase, exclusives have really stopped my collecting

Of course the DC line sells. There have been hundreds of figures released and a crap ton more are on the way. If a line doesnt sell it doesnt get to have hundreds and hundreds of figures in a 4 year period. Super Powers has around 50 figures and maybe 10 vehicles with more on the way. Were 3-4 waves into both Animated Series lines with more on the way. Mcfarlane has released I think 8 or 9 mostly 7” scale Batmobiles and 3 6” scale Batmobiles and a 6” scale Jokermobile. The enormous 36” long Batwing from BTAS is about to ship next. The original will set you back $500-1,000 on eBay so the $125 reissue is a Godsend.

Imo scalpers got their hands before even reaching the shelves, for some reason people think these plastic toys cost a fortune in aftermarket and they end up try to sell them on ebay for crazy prices only to realise they can't sell them and got "scammed" themselves.🤣

Here in Canada's biggest city, Walmart DC multiverse is pretty pathetic. Absolutely no new stuff. Even when new stock comes in, it is 8-12 months old. I get all my stuff from Gamestop or Amazon Canada.

Lately a lot of the employees that work at Walmart and Target been taking a lot of the more wanted figures sale'n them on eBay well that what I was told from one of the female employees she said that certain guys that work their been taking boxes from the back going through them taking the rarest/chase variants out and that they've been trying too crack down on them,,she said ,,this is how they found out ,,that box they carry would tell them how many figures that came in and when customer comes in looking for them ,none or some of the figures would be missing,an at the same time the figures weren't purchased because each figure that was sold it would tell them on that box figures would vanish from the back,,supermart Walmart Springfield Illinois
