Thanks for this tip. I drive a 2012 Toyota Yaris hatchback, same issue. We are going to take off the door "card" and replace the sealant with Butyl tape. Hope this fixes it, both sides at the rear are soaked.

My Kia forte leaks in the back floor boards and the spot where the back seat meets the back seat back rest and the trunk deep where it meets the back seat. Only when it rains is it likely the back window? I hope not those are expensive but cheaper than a new car 😂

Hey, man, I have the same issue in my 2018 Genesis G80, the same location also, I looked everywhere and checked everything but found nothing, so I dried it up and will check it in a while to see if it's gonna happen again. Did you find the source?

I have a Toyota Corolla 2010, same problem in rear carpets both sides! Door leaks? No, window leaks? no, roof leak? NO! WHERE IS THE LEAK PLEASE HELP HELP HELP

I have same problem with my golf. I cleaned the draining lines and the next time it rained again water came in but only at the driver’s area.

Today i removed the plastic part under the wipers. Took the motor off. And put silicone around the cable that opens the hood. And the box next to that. Lets see how it goes. Im pretty sure it comes from there.

Whenever I drive my car with the AC on and take a sharp turn a squealing sound comes and water drips near the passenger seat. What could be the issue possbly

AC creates condensation but there is a hose to drain it to the ground. Sounds like it is blocked and therefore overflows inside the passenger compartment.

Problem was clogged sunroof drains. Mechanic had seen many times before. Two hours labor & towels to soak up water from carpet. Problem solved. 2014 320XI, 90K

@percynolan6198 we found out it's are back light the water was coming off the boot and going throw the light as there was a gap between light and car frame i would say check your if there's water in your boot on passenger side then put a bit of silicone around your light see if it stops it if not I would check if your windows are letting in a bit of wind as if they are then it could be getting in that way but the water getting in my car was only getting to under passenger seat so we new it must of been coming from back somewhere it's not nice having to deal with water in the car as it starts to smell but moment you find it dry it out at much as you can then I went in with some clothing fabric softener just to make it smell a bit better hope this helps

This video was useless. Going around in circles with no definitive explanation or obvious explanations. All second guessing and using the phrase "it might be this." When you see someone tearing their car apart, you shouldn't trust this guy for any valuable tips.

I have same issue with my ford fiesta, the floor on the back to right passenger side is very wet and the trunk where spare tire is placed is flooded. It is starting to grow molds. They said the diagnosis shows the weather strip is worn out and should be fixed. They billed me $1200.00 for the repair and labor. Very expensive.

@@HidingZebraTubeI have a hatchback which was flooded during the rainy days, it flooded the back compartment where the spare tire is. I brought it to Ford service center they said the weather strip is worn out that is why the water goes inside the trunk. They replaced the weather strip, so far it has not rain yet after the replacement. But I tried the washer, so far the water did not go inside the trunk.

The weather strip did not work, now it is raining the rain water started to flood my spare tire well again. I just returned the car to Ford just now, the advisor said they will check again. I am losing my patience.

I returned my car to Ford service center and it took them almost a month to repair. The service advisor said they still have to order the parts and they are waiting for the parts to arrive. She said next day delivery but did not happened. I waited for a week, no update, I have to call and text the advisor what is happening. Most of the time, I could not reach them but I kept on calling and sending them text messages to no avail. Then after a week the advisor texted me that my car still in service due to parts has not been delivered. They kept my car for 28days and I am paying for the rental car they provided me. The service advisor said they found molds in my car and that they have to perform detailing to remove the molds. The molds probably came from the wet carpets due to rain water goes inside my car that went unnoticed until lately. For the parts, they said the parts are not available so they have to use the salvage parts from my car. On 28th days, they said my car is ready for pick up, I paid 2, 800.00 dollars, very expensive. Total for everything, weather strip 1,200+2800= $4,000.00 dollars, which my extended warranty does not cover. I bought this used car from Nissan last August 2023, not even a year, they sold me a lemon car. I feel cheated.
