It's actually a mix between a dragon and a wyvern, cause a wyvern has 2 limbs 2 wings, while a dragon and 4 limbs and 2 wings but the western dragon actually has 4 limbs, the 2 frontal ones are just attached to the wings (its weird ik)

I just wanna say, Western Dragon is NOT a Western Dragon! I am a huge dragon nerd, and I can confirm that it is in fact a wyvern! A Western Dragon has 4 legs with its wings being separate appendages. Wyverns have two hind legs, while typically the front feet/claws are on the wings. Therefore, Blox Fruits' western dragon is actually a wyvern. (And no, Wyverns are not considered 'Western dragons'.) Edit: Just noticed another comment pointing this out. Thank you fellow dragon connoisseur.

Ok here is the pros and cons of both types West: -Pros Range Doesn't need to hold C or x Faster flight -Con X,C does not stun players C does not last as long and does less damage Has less combo potential F does not have good transportation Hitbox is larger making a larger target Can not move while holding z East: -Pros Looks cooler transformed (IMO) Can move while holding Z All moves stun players F can drag players and do extra damage Better for sky camping F is much faster and good to escape C does more damage and lasts longer -Cons Slow normal flight Harder to see players M1 is weird Has to hold moves A little buggier than west C can't hit explosion if player not dragged by dragon. If i missed some pros or cons please let me know

I disagree I think that eastern is better for pvp, for one if someone tries running the F move is very good as it’s fast and catches people, moreover Eastern X move and C move suck players making it impossible for players to escape, and if you do X move and then directly after C move it’s pretty much inescapable because it sucks people in and does very high dmg, while western C move you can escape it. So personally I think eastern is better for pvp than western.

Eastern is actually a lot better for PVP than Western. It's C does more damage and locks enemies into the entire thing, when people can simply run out of Western's C move. The X move isn't as simple though, its more of personal preference. Eastern's deceptively tiny hitbox is also a huge boost in PVP, as well as the ability to move while charging the Z. The flight is also a lot easier to control in Eastern. However Western's flight is like 3x faster.

You can move at full speed while charging with eastern, and you also get buffed range, which addresses and practically negates both of the normal debuffs of charging

Honestly. Im eastern dragon fan so i might be biased but i will try my best. If you wanna bounty hunt use western. Western has a more offensive capabilities than eastern. If you wanna be versatile use Eastern. Pretty much because Eastern has a more confusing Hitbox compared to wyvern(Eastern have a long tail. But you can only target the head.). It also has multiple grab attack. Along with it most powerful move having itself on the center. If you wanna bounty hunt while also keeping survivability go for eastern. If you wanna go rampage mode. Go western. In the end. More offence or more defence doesn't really matter with these 2 dragon.

Just to let everyone know, Western dragon’s scorching downfall is less consistent because it *DOES NOT* pull players in. This is in exchange for being able to shoot at range and use other moves. Eastern dragon *PULLS YOU IN* with 3 moves. Eastern is EQUALLY NOT ESCAPABLE as Western if you actually hit your moves. While Western has a WAYY higher base speed in flight, the flight move for EASTERN DRAGON (F) when transformed is the *FASTEST FLIGHT IN GAME* and it also pulls everything. Keep in mind an Eastern dragon is *NOT* slow. They *will* catch up to you. Use Western Dragon With At Least *SOME* Thinking. Note: Dragon is still INVINCIBLE, so don’t fret lol.

West is the best in everyway and the design is equal to the eastern, the reason why they gave you only eastern physical fruit is because western is the better one. (I know for a fact some kids are gonna go mad about this comment because they don't have the perm and only the physical Eastern)

I found someone using eastern earlier then i got excited so i full my bar and transform into my western dragon, once he saw me he immediately use the first skill but after that i flew, i was so fast he couldn't attack me with the first skill but because he was so slow i can hold my first skill until full power, even if he tried to escape, he couldn't because on how slow it is, so i ended the fight with me winning

I’ve used both eastern and western in pvp and I think eastern is good for aoe, damage and dmg. And western is also good but if it comes to a battle in mid air, they are suppose to normally depend on near by platforms so the abilities explode near the player but there ain’t no platforms in the air so your gonna need good aim. So I think eastern dragon is better in pvp, travel, and grinding.

oh i agree i was in a 1v1 and i used Eastern max lvl) and he used Western (we both transformed) and it so dumb how clear it was that he won.. the scorching downfall on western has a WAY shorter cooldown and it SO BROKEN!!!🤬 i hate so say it but "if you cant beat them, join em"😭

​@@takanomi844yes,western is also the fastest thing in the game right now(i dont know about the normal flight speed,but if you look down and go straight you go faster than a kitsune and a dough without any effort),it also has ranged moves making it better for pvp imo.Both look very cool tho

I'm sorry to say but it has no low cooldown.. the drag user was probably a ghoul race guy where their ability allows player to reduce the cooldown of fruit attacks also it's bout skill. Portal user can easily kill western dragons despite their huge size and creepyness

Western is great for grinding in areas where the npc are close close to each other due to the Aoe moves

West is faster, but has one of the biggest hitboxes in the game, and the dmg is alot lower, but it does have longer range. Eastern on the otherhand has a very small hitbox, way more damage, slower flight speed and lower range. But other things can easily compensate for range.

eastern because most of the time people get close to you for doing combo etc plus eastern has such a big knockback so you can make them get far away from you so you can heal

nah genuinely I believe eastern is better for pvp but not because of the full mode but rather after the full mode when you go into your hybrid dragon mode instead in which you can use v4's and the base skills are still very good for comboing with others. Another note is with eastern you can move your dragon while you charge as opposed to the floating in place while charging western dragon. That all said I choose to use western anyways just because I love being more of a rathalos feel when flying over islands

I like eastern because it looks cooler in my opinion and eastern dragon has better stuns I think. You can use f to run away or to chase people X for the stuns C You can use right after the x for that dmg Western is faster though and has better range so i guess if you want to spam you could use western One more thing is that western i feel has a larger hitbox because the model looks way bigger but im not sure

Nah I got one shot by Eastern dragon's C move. Tbh it happened so fast that I couldn't tell what actually happened but it looked like the dragon came close to me, GRABBED ME using the C skill, and then I got one shot. I tried to ken trick it but it did NOT work. It seems that if you grab someone using C skill, it does way more dmg but yeah it can be hard to pull that of sometimes

Western is quite dumb and buggy when u fight on say islands like floating turtle or tiki outpost. You get stuck and become a sitting duck when your dragon lands and have a hard time escaping due to stuns. Eastern dragon is really good because you can go to tight areas.

Western is actually alot worse than the eastern one. But both of them are good in their own way. Western, being ranged and has way more speed and makes x and c ranged but in the c move, people can easily leave it and the z move does not allow you to move. Eastern in the other hand is alot slower and has a smaller hitbox giving it a boost in pvp. It may not have a fast speed or it may not have a long range but i can tell you how op it is. The X move works like a tornado and actually sucks in players near enough to the ability. The c ability locks down the player until the ability ends. It does a huge amount of damage if you use it properly. Both are pretty good. Western in my opinion is for people that dont like to pvp near to eachother and for eastern, people who like to combo or just damage in general. From this comment, i said all the things from western and eastern. Choose what you like

I completely disagree on draconic soar being worse on eastern, with eastern, with how big the hitbox is, you can grab people and slam them down into the ground and immediately follow up with infernal pincer and there is nothing they can do about it. Otherwise, draconic soar is better on wester due to the speed buff.
