Another excellent vlog Dan. The wildlife in London (and many other cities around the UK/World) surprises alot of folk. They're usually too busy in their day to day work routines to even notice it as a rule, but it was nice to see people of all ages in the background of your vlog enjoying & photographing the wildlife too. Great stuff mate, look forward to part 3 👍Keep on keeping on! Best, Nick

Dan, thanks for the excellent vlog. Planning to visit London this October and hoping to shoot some London's wildlife. This video helped me a lot to plan out my visit. Thanks again.

Great video Dan, wildlife is always on our door step but so many people are oblivious to it. I have the same feeling about cities as yourself, not for me.

Cheers Bob, good to hear it’s not just me who is not a city lover 😂😂 Thanks for your support 👍🏻

Excellent video Dan, an eye opener and you may even of convinced me to have a day out in the capital... Normally I run in and run out as like you - cant stand the sheer number of humans.. ;)

Thanks Alex, I think you and me are on the same page. My next trip is booked for Mull, obviously the wildlife is the greatest draw but I love the fact few people are there too 👍🏻

Superb, loved the video great assortment of species, some unusual venues to find a good selection of wildlife in the capital. I don't miss the tube or the traffic, well presented as usual Dan👍

Thanks very much Derek. I can honestly say after a few days of the tube and city life I was ready to leave it all behind and head back to the countryside 👍🏻

Been to the UK recently. Visited the Hyde Park and didn't carry my camera with me. Regret it 1000%. Full of waterfall and life

The london parks have a lot to offer! I thought that maybe a squirrel might have made it into the video. Them and the parakeets will literally eat right from your hands. Probably not ideal for a 70-200 though. 😂

Thanks Keara, I did see plenty of squirrels but bizarrely they always had a crowd of people people around them 😂 I definitely think next time I go I will try a shorter focal length and take a pocket full of peanuts 👍🏻

Dan I know this is mega cheeky and apologise in advance but can I ask u a very quick question please? I am doing the sea eagle safari on Mull later this month and taking my new Z9 - the question is do you think the 10 -400mm Z lens will cut the mustard or should I use my Sigma 150 - 600mm? Apologies again! Clive
@danwillis_photography Жыл бұрын
Hi Clive, don't mid the question at all. My Dad has the 100-400mm Lens and absolutely swears by it. The thing about Mull charters is that the guys get you really close to the Eagles, the first time I went I took my 500mm prime, it was way to big and I could not get images of the birds diving without clipping wings or feet. I take my 70-200mm and I'm always left wishing for a longer focal length and end up switching into DX mode. I would say that the 100-400mm would be the absolute perfect lens for the job. All the best and good luck up in Mull.

@@danwillis_photography Dan thanks ever so much for taking the time to get back to me and for the advice. Took the Z9 out a couple of weeks ago to the bird hide at Aqualate Mere (which I recommend) and was stunned by the AF capabilities! Thanks once again and happy shooting.
