I don't know why after Jungwoo joined NCT127, I rarely saw Winwin. Sometimes I want to be angry and upset but I know it's not his fault. This is all SM's behavior. They have many reasons, i read somewhere that NCT127 has so much vocal (Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Taeil, Haechan). Most of nct127 can sing well and Winwin will really hard to get any lines. Another reason is Winwin's Korean isn't good enough, but even he can speaks fluently, he still gets a little or no line because Yuta and Johnny are now being promoted :'( Maybe WayV can push he better when he has more screentime and line

Companies aren't supposed to bias how they treat their idols, they should all represent the company, they should have respect, and they should all have a chance. If he doesn't have as much strength in vocals, then give him more screen time dancing, just don't leave someone behind. When I heard about wayv debuting with WinWin I was also excited since he in my ult nct bias, and like you said, I expected to see him shine, but while I listened and watched the video I couldn’t even hear his parts because he had none lmao. Me and my friends were planning on buying tickets for the Neo City Tour but gave up since we noticed WinWin would not be attending, and decided we’d wait until the ot10 were back together. The people who were saying wayv isn’t a part of NCT seem correct sometimes, because I feel like, the members who will move to wayv, possibly the Chinese dreamies, will stop promoting with nct branded groups. Because like you said, if you have such a large bg, the schedules shouldn’t overlap, especially when one is hardly doing any promotions. They made it work for mark who was in 3 sub units, but can’t for WinWin? What if NCT U is having a comeback, will Ten promote or no? If he does is that favoritism? Winwin is actually a lead dancer in NCT, he learnt Chinese Dance from Grade 7 to Grade 12 (5 years) and where he learnt was from was the Central Academy of Drama, China, one of the most prestigious art schools, it's actually in the top 3. Going further is that Winwin is the most flexible member of NCT. Winwin never really got a chance to showcase his Vocals well due to how little lines he has. It's really unfair, he qualified for three subunits but he never gets any lines in them. If you say language, even in the Chinese subunit, he didnt get lines. I feel like they're unsure of what they should do with him: they probably think that not having him in 127 all the time isn't a big problem, since they never gave him the chance to actually be useful in the group talent wise, so they might not remove him completely and making him come back in the future to have more money from his stans (kinda what they did with exo and the whole vivace version of don't mess up my tempo) and think it won't make much of a difference. But can we stop pretending that Jungwoo isn't a replacement? Not acknowledging that means ignoring the fact that SM thinks the members are disposable (which is gonna hurt the members even more). By saying this I don't mean that I hate Jungwoo, neither am I saying that it's his fault (he's literally my ultimate bias and the reason I got into NCT in the first place); but he's covering all of Winwin's parts in older songs, moved in Yuta's and Taeil's room, has the same cute/innocent image as Winwin, could easily be a lead dancer and a lowkey visual... also the choreos to older songs were never properly adapted for ot10, so yeah. Which brings me to the thing that bothers me the most: SM not understanding that what really makes a group is the members, and that changing them repeatedly affects the dynamics of the group a lot, as well as how the fans perceive the group. Take 127 before and after the addition of Johnny and Doyoung: it doesn't even look like the same group (thank god they were added, btw, 'cause they really saved the group from akwardness and helped the more introverted/shy members to open up and show the best of their selves); a lot changed after the addition of Jungwoo as well (can we take a moment to appreciate how well he fits in 127? he was able to bond with them so quickly, he seems to get along with everyone pretty well, and i'm living for his relationship with Taeil and Mark). Also the whole concept of NCT Dream... it's kinda fucked up. I feel like removing Winwin so suddenly and without an explanation is something they could do only out of disrespect for both the fans and the members; the same goes for adding Jungwoo knowing that he would get hate for it... and doing absolutely nothing about it. Also, I'm lowkey confused as to why the other members haven't spoken up about it, or at least tried to do so - I mean, they're probably not allowed, and I'm not sure I would do that myself if I were in their position, but still - it kinda hurts. The best thing SM could have done was removing winwin completely and officially, but giving us proper explanation and having a sort of graduation or something. I think Winwin stans deserved it (as did nctzens in general) and it would have been a lot less akward and less confusing than it is now. On the other hand, Winwin with WayV... I think I never saw him this happy and relaxed. I think that being able to promote in his own country is making him much more comfortable and confident; he talks a lot more than he did before, and now he's been added as permanent cast on a show? I'm so so so happy for him. So I actually wouldn't mind him only staying with the new unit. But he still deserves a proper graduation from 127, cause he spent so much time with them and worked so hard during these years. And they can't just pretend he was never there.

Winwin's my bias, so I'm pretty mad about him not being included in the tour, album, etc. But I think SM has a good reason for why Winwin's been MIA. I can understand conflicting schedules. Preparing for debut is incredibly difficult, not to mention Winwin was still promoting Regular during the Simon Says era. We also know SM really cares about WayV and is very invested in them. The Regular MV is one of the most visually dazzling MV's I've ever seen, and it has some crazy VFX. SM definitely sunk a lot of money into that one MV, not to mention the other teasers. Also, I think there's a reason why Winwin doesn't get lines. In all likelihood, he's the weakest member vocally, and he has a habit of slurring his words in any language. His voice tone (not sure what you call it) is quite thick. He's a great dancer, but when compared to all the other members, he's mid-tier. Winwin was probably debuted for his visuals and personality. That's a lucrative decision. He's raked in tons of international fans, and almost all of NCT's Chinese fanbase is Winwin biased. SM has already started to take advantage of his potential, and they do pay attention to him. His dancing has improved vastly since debut. He had those solo stages during the 6th sense, he was in NCT U, he's done variety shows in China. Do you really think SM, a company with vast resources and experience, is really going to ignore a member just because. Jungwoo could very well be Winwin's replacement. Saying that Jungwoo is his replacement is just a statement, its not blaming him. Also, I've never seen anyone blame Jungwoo for Winwin's absence. SM knows what its doing, especially with WayV on the line. They've been trying to break into the Chinese market for years, and with the political tensions between Korea and China, they're going to be extra careful. We don't know what's going on behind the scenes, so we don't have enough information to see the whole picture. I'm mad too, but I think a lot of fans are letting their emotions cloud their judgement. This video was a sloppily constructed rant, and the comments also lack any substance. Their pure emotionality makes them entirely unconvincing. It actually scares me how fangirls can be so tribal and infantile. To be honest, I'm a bit embarrassed by this fandom.
