in Raid, if youre F2P , the only real ways to get shards to summon, are Clan Boss and Doom Tower, i mean theres the weekly and monthly daily missions crap, but thats fuckin 30 days of doing it.

Raid nerfed summon rates, nerfed clan boss drops, and if you spend... No low key buff in drop rate. I left raid December 2023, for the poor handling of void shard weekend. Instead of offering 2x with a 15x to pull the new organ tribe void Lego... They did so, Tuesday of the Christmas weekend. Switched to Wor, drop rate was friendly, fusions were not punishing, rewards were very helpful, and devs listen.

I don't know about raid but watcher of realms is super user friendly I have been playing it as F2P for nearly 3 months amd I have completed stages 21 of all gear raids and Nightmare void rift And I have saved 3000 diamonds and 40 summons in 6 days It's just you have to reach late game stages to collect more rewards in this game The rest is going to be easy if you know how to save up for your limited heroes

Back in 2020 iirc, during 6 months of continuous play, I wasn't able to get a single lego hero, and I also saw how much Raid LOVED to frustrate players into hopefully spending. I saw them for what they are. So happy I quit. WOR is far far FAR more player friendly.

here's a little comparison: just as with WoR, you get shards for your fusion from tournaments and events and, just as with WoR, there will be dungeon divers/brave conquest to go with specific dungeons (fire knight/gear raid 1). so, in the most recent fusion, the first dungeon diver was scheduled concurrent with fire knight and you needed 2250 in fire knight to get the fragments but 3700 for dungeon diver. but you get less points per piece in dungeon diver than fire knight so you'll be done with your 2250 for FK but still need to another 1000s of energies to run fire knight for little additional gain (there's 1-2 additional prize). and also gears from dungeons (like fire knight) are now, basically, 2nd tier gears. also, incredibly importantly, you cannot miss ANY of the events unless you were willing to spend your shards in the shard pull event to get to the last tier. like, if you have an emergency or something come up during a fusion? say goodbye to that hero (unless, of course, you want to spend money) where a WoR fusion has some forgiveness. raid is *intentionally* adversarial with their player-base where WoR (probably to their detriment) can be ridiculously generous with their energies and events. like, legitimately? the majority of fusions are vault lords to be - they *can* be used if you really want to stretch it but so many better champions are already in circulation - but the whole point of the genre is gacha/collector and it is still fun to get that next, new champion.

Two small things Plarium could do, to get good will with players. Very small. Put a shard counter so players know exactly where they are on pity on every pull and lower the pity to 100 down from 200 Or make it 180 so 200 is the highest you will go, never over 200.( give Void shards a separate pity that makes more sense).

When my previous gacha game folded, I was left looking for a new game to occupy my time. It came down to a choice between Raid, Dragonheir, and Watcher of Realms. As someone who played A LOT of D&D back in the day, Dragonheir was a very strong frontrunner. But, after doing my research and reading a lot of reviews, I chose WOR, back in mid-February, and I'm damn glad that I did.

Can t wait only banners to have good chance to get the end game lego you desperately need (elowyin in my case). When you get kria, shamir, crach etc etc on your pity you really get upset and frustrated...

I consider Plarium(Aristocrat?) one of the worst company in this genre, their greed is through the roof. But sadly we showed them that their methods work. They keep making tons of money so they don't see why they should change. Just basic morales and principles are sadly not enough in today's world, everything is about making more money.

Nice video...i might have played raid for 2 days and didnt enjoy it at all..i did play age of magic which is just like raid but more to my taste but can't compare it to wor...this is by far the best gacha i have ever played...by the way..is the ''should you summon'' video in the making? since asgard divide, plarium has blatantly ruining the game in a surreal way, they started inflating points in the event, devaluing resources that the player has, nerfs on hydra..,which, when released, was miserable and boring content that no one liked, and after several months when you were finally able to progress, improve your score weekly, plarium destroyed the sense of progress, making it once again a content for the few but the problem is much more complex than just that... the game is in an old, outdated model that no one can handle anymore. imagine doing endgame content, like hard dungeon 10, cursed city, nightmare hydra. and receiving 5 star rare loot. it's just unbearable, in 1 or 2 months, you shouldn't be using 5 star gear anymore... forge: imagine crafting a gloves from lethal set, for example: you only use critical damage as main stat,right? and there is a pool of 1/8 to hit critical damage as main stat. gloves main stat pool:CRIT DAMAGE, crit chance, attack, attack%, def, def%, hp and hp% after this, there is another RNG for being 5 or 6 star, and then, ANOTHER for rarity, AND ANOTHER ONE for sub stat, and FREAKING RNG FOR SUBSTAT VALUE, THEN THERE IS ANOTHER RNG TO HIT MULTIPLE ROLLS IN THE SAME SUBSTAT YOU NEED THE MOST. dungeons aren't farmable anymore. drop rates are terrible, it's EVEN WORSE than forging, because there is another layer of rng: SETS,there is a lot of sets in the same dungeon, and most of them are useless. 5k energy for 1 decent piece. i mean, DECENT, not powerful and on top of that, things are way too scarce. you can get 4 primal shards per week in live arena, and MAYBE 1 in hydra clash as f2p. so, chance of getting a mythical is minimal if you don't do live arena(very boring content)

I will try to explain in a more simplified way. 😊: now plarium owns watcher of realms! your runs in artifact material raid (stage 21 and 22) can drop all meteorites from stage 1 to 18, ,so you can get a purple meteorite from stage 21 and 22. the drop rate of wisdom and titan meteorite is only 5%. by only doing this, forging an exclusive artifact can be a hell of a grind,right? it's how drop rates in shadow of legends works,and i'm not even exagerating, there is many layers of rng. the players even doesn't realize that they're spending a lot of resources. about other contents in raid: to improve your "pantheon" in raid, you need to win PVP battles, it's almost 2 years to max your pantheon doing pvp everyday efficiently if you're a "hardcore player". or 4 to 5 years if you're lazy about primal shards: it's the same as ancient summoning crystals. mythic champions in raid = lord heroes in wor, you receive only 3~5 primal shards per month doing pve content, and 3~4 in pvp content

Its much easier to get good gear, good champs and dont need to save for months to get something good like in raid, devs listen players they making good updates, but wor also a little nerfing drops , few months im getting a lot times from nm3 and 4 200 diamonds, now its very rare to get from both bosses chest 200 diamonds, legendary hero soul i get only once but ok its very rare ( but that much?) im playing wor already 1+ year , its nice game , like it , but dont like quietly nerfing rewards drop

I still play RAID, but very little anymore. There's way too many reasons why I stay off of it. And for a while I was juggling up to 9 different mobile games. But it wouldn't have ever gotten to that point if RAID didn't disappoint me so much. Since I've been playing WOR, that's been my primary game focus. But WOR isn't perfect and I still juggle WOR with Dragon Champions and Hero Wars. What I find appealing about the latter two, is that they are way much more easier to play in more than one way. Easy = Fun to me. I'm not the type that wants everything always evolving in difficulties. That just makes me angry, disgruntled, unsatisfied, disappointed, and frustrated when games (*"Cough*":Raid) are nearly impossible to clear and complete in game content. As long as things are not deceptively easy - but drags on forever With no finality and no completion of storyline, etc. By that , I'm going to have to point out League of Angels. I played 2 different League of Angels games that did just that. Everything was easy and achievable and it's all well and good, but there was so many micro issues that made the game seem like it was just bleeding into boredom and there was no end to the monotonous tediousness that just dragged on without ever finishing the game . Now, I'm not a gamer that strictly only prefers easy games. It's just that on a mobile device, I don't have the time and attention and energy to invest as I do into a home console. I mastered Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen which I thought was more challenging than Dark Souls. But I did it. And sitting at home in the comfort of that, there's more room for concentration, attentiveness, awareness, reading notes and research, and really throwing myself into it. But playing a game on a cell phone, there's all of everything else going on around me that I'm not as focused and zoned into the game. I don't have a laptop or desktop PC. So it's either cellphone or Xbox for me. All that aside, in regards to Watcher of Realms , I just don't want WOR to keep evolving in difficulty. It's already showing signs of this. I don't want WOR to get as difficult or harder than RAID. It's going to eventually cause me to drop playing WOR. Because I don't have the tolerance for playing nearly impossible to beat games on a mobile device. If WOR is going to keep pleasing those of you who live everything to always keep getting harder and harder and harder in difficulty, they should allow every piece of content in the game to have an easy mode to still clear and complete everything there's to do in the game, but for those of us who don't want to exhaust our brains overthinking And overanalyzing everything. When we have a life to live outside the videogame.

A major problem with so many Gatcha games is pushing all players to participate in PVP, when barely 10% actually like this. Games going back to the likes of World of Warcraft, always struggled to get enough players interested in PVP. New games should make PVP a separate optional element of theri games and stop forcing everyone to do pvp every day. it's just boring and stupidly needed to unlock bits of the shop. Make the pvp shop, just for pvp things in you game, maybe with some generic resources.

WoR has a quite decent gameplay with hard content that isn't only a gear/hero check but requires actual strategy to progress. Raid has a very dry gameplay it gets very boring very quickly whenever u hit an account progression bottleneck

you need almost a year to save in raid shadow legends just to even have a semblance of fun yeah you may reach end game but with just rare or epics and no Leggos. In Watcher of realms you can have fun, be in the late or end game in just 3-6 months and have tons of leggos 😂...

RSL is disgusting....too expensive. WoR is literally a F2P paradise in comparison. I'm gonna say it. But, if you're a highly viewed CC in Raid, you're not "FTP". They give you in-game item that have a monetary value to level/upgrade champions. So it isn't the same FTP experience that someone how isn't a CC and spends zero money. They may not spe d they're own money, but they are given value items to help them along. They need to come up with another moniker other FTP.

What stops me from paying anything in any Gacha game is, that there is a very high chance to no get anything useful even after spending 1000 Euros. I would be happy to support a good game with 10-20 Euros per month if i could actually see some use. But even in WoR 20 Euros would very very very very very very likely only give me 5-6 rare champs and max. 1 epic. Sorry but the 20 Euros are better invested in beer. The insane greed of the devs just puts me off, but sadly there are enough stupid people out there with more money than they need and spend 30 dollars on a fucking legendary sum. stone to get another useless epic.
