The reason PGR doesn't work is because of an update which messed up folder composition, it should be main folder *KuroGame* and inside of if the rest of files and folders, including the folder called *Punishing Gray Raven*, that fixed it for me

Oh hell yeah! Great to see that you are interested in this, too! I have a real good feeling about this game. Ever since I found out about it, I was planning on taking it up as one of my 2 long-term gachas(alongside Limbus).

And yeah, Jianxin, the monk girl, is weird. She has some decent range and is quite tanky...But was also one of the least powerful characters in terms of dps in the beta. So, we shall see how relevant she becomes.

One thing I liked about WW is that even support characters like Tanks and Healers have to enter the battle and deal damage in order to use their class specs since the game is focused on combat.

Sanhua, Aalto and Danjin r 4* characters. Jianxin is a Standard banner 5* character. 😊

15:53 well you see Jainxin's skill is that she counters, she also heals, has AoE, shields, and has grouping. Her dmg isn't insane but her sustainability and utility is definitely top tier. Holding her attack button lets her do AoE dmg on a wide circular area around her and gives a shield, her skill when timed lets her counter attacks even bosses but you can also just hold it and wait to get attacked, or even just press or let go whenever you want to combine with combos, her ult sucks in enemies in a YingYang vortex. So in terms of difficulty hitting multiple or far away enemies she has that handled, as well as being sustainable enough to survive dmg thanks to her shield and heals as well.

Finally!!! Finally some Wuthering Waves!!! I really hope you'll pick this one up, Georgie, because it's gonna be LIT! Great challenges, awesome combat, really interesting world and creature designs...!! Yup, the game has it all!!!! Also, It's understandable why you wouldn't really be interested in picking up Jianxin but just know that monk characters, really CQC oriented and glass cannon-y are often designed to be hard to play, hard to master characters because of... Well, their frailty and their range! :D On another note, can I suggest you to take a look at Path To Nowhere, Georgie? Knowing your love for the Project Moon-verse and how you fancy adult/dark stories, I'm pretty sure you'll LOVE the world of PtN :D

I am very excited! If I do pick it up for the channel it would be in a lets play format I think, but would be super fun for sure! Also thats fair about Jianxin, I think I am not great at playing characters like that but would love to try her for sure! Also I have played some path to nowhere actually hehe I adore the character designs :P zoya is my fave ngl XD

@@arkcanon1282 I think its mostly along the lines of the story - if it is as good as expected and with the gameplay if its fastpaced and interesting as well. As I haven't seen anyone playing the beta testing so I don't know, but I just hope it lives up to the hype of the trailers!

@@georgieegames in CBT1 they had some scenes that characters point their gun/ sword at MC in the story. And so many people complained that they dont want their waifus to hurt the MC. Sadly they changed those things and 90% of the original story. In CBT2 WuWa had a completely new story from CBT1. Yes those characters that try to kill MC in CBT1 r now very friendly towards the MC in CBT2. But the story actually got interesting after we encounter the Villain. And it makes us question everything and everyone in the game lol. Its interesting.

I played the last beta! I really enjoyed it but couldn’t get too too far because of my phone, so I will have to wait for console release…but it was so fun!

I don't think being tanky/tough matters as much as you think in WuWa simply because you have so many defensive options, perfect dodges, parries, and deflections all lead to survivability.

i also have an amd driver but pgr works on my pc so i doubt thats the reason for it not working. also when you say it dosent work on your pc im assuming you are referring to the pc client? if so thats really strange why it wont work. when you click to boot it up did nothing happen or did it give an error message of some sort?

I have been trying to figure it out for a while - basically I can download the PC client but when I go to open it, it won't open the game, doesn't even open the game if I skip the client and go straight to the game from the file either. It worked briefly during the lee patch but has stopped again. I have tried a LOT to get it working, but at this point, I have really given up with it as I can't find a fix :(

@@georgieegames hm do you have any firewalls or antivirus software on your pc? if so sometimes they interfere with applications. if you havent already i would suggest trying to whitelist pgr on them and see if that helps.

@@georgieegames yeah hopefully whenever you do upgrade your pc it will work then. wish i was more knowledgeable on what would cause an app to not boot up. also on another topic wuthering waves does have a very dark story not as dark as pgr yet but much darker than say genshin or star rail for example. i also agree the voice acting could use some work for some of the characters from what it sounded in the trailer but maybe it will sound better with context in the game? i do really like chixia,sanhua, yinlin and aalto vas though

I'm curious whether the game can compete with Genshin Impact and what the gatcha mechanics and story look like. Hoyoverse has been doing pretty well lately . Hope i can play the next Beta

I am curious about that too! A lot of people were calling this game a "genshin killer" but I don't know how much that stands anymore! Well the game releases next month so not sure they will do another beta ngl

I don't think their the same kind of games tbh. People who love Genshin for the story and world exploration may not love WuWas fast past combat, high skill ceiling and challenging endgame. I think a lot of disappointed Genshin fans who have been wanting Hoyo to evolve the combat and endgame will love WuWa though. It really depends on the priorities of the player though

the issue with long range character is they don't have that many dodge or opportunity to dodge enemy attacks while melee character do

I am convinced that the two stories are connected. Plus, Yangyang's hair is reminiscent of the Gray Raven emblem. Lol This may seem anecdotal. But I'm sure their choices aren't just coincidences. Knowing that Yangyang will also be voiced by the seiyuu Yui Ishikawa just like Lucia. I guess the goddess looking like her in WuWa will also be voiced by her, and maybe she also has a connection to Yangyang.
