@@SlamCentral_ WWE main roster booking never remained in favor of Finn Balor except the inaugural Universal Championship story. WWE always used him as a loveable guy who is a punching bag for others. Similar to Ziggler who was once booked as world champ and then WWE used him as stepping stone to young stars. Similarly, Finn Balor is used to make other wrestlers look good. Priest is the latest example.

Although, I have high hopes from Triple H but from the last two week's booking I made up my mind that Finn Balor will be fed to Priest and Judgement Day will most probably be used to put over Wyatt's.

About a year ago, I would have agreed with you. I just don't think being in the title picture is Finn's role anymore. The closest comparison I think is AJ Styles or Rey Mysterio. They're still big deals in name, but they aren't necessarily winning titles anymore. I do think that his recent booking is trying and doing a decent job at repairing Finn's reputation, especially if last nights Raw means anything. I also feel like you misunderstand the original Judgement Day storyline as a whole. The whole reason they kicked out Edge was because the three believed *there should be no leaders in Judgement Day* (whether or not that logistically makes sense). This reason is also exactly why Finn turned on Rhea and Damian. He felt like they were taking more say in the group due to having their respective belts and this caused Finn to resent them.

@@IamNster I didn’t misunderstand the storyline, it’s the fact that he STOOD OUT like a leader compared to Priest and Rhea. Yes they didn’t want any leaders but to the eyes of the people, Finn was the undeniable leader, especially since he was the one calling the shots most of the time and always on center stage (bigger name, makes sense) My problem with Finn’s booking is the fact that we were never given anything consistently at any point Should’ve won at WrestleMania, should’ve beaten Seth at SummerSlam, should’ve participated in the Money in the Bank. Those were all missed opportunities to make use of Finn on the roster but the creative team blew it. Think about it this way, they were willing to take a chance on Priest as World Champion over the guy who has proven himself year after year

what's crazy about this is that finn balor had to lose both his world heavyweight championship opportunities last year because of damian priest kept interfering teasing a money in the bank cash in only for damian to eventually cash in at wrestlemania 40 and win the world heavyweight championship only to have finn screw over damian at summerslam this year. and i get it from long term storytelling it was a way to plant the seeds for the eventual feud & match between the two & also the eventual judgement day this year but it's like damn.

What does Finn do after bad blood to continue momentum? Bron and Gunther are both heels and are booked as monsters that don’t seem to be dropping their recently won titles anytime soon. Finn isn’t believable in the world title picture which is why he has been slumming it in the tag division since his loss at summerslam over a year ago. Continue to dominate a non-existent tag division with 4 people backing you up.

Well since Gunther isn’t losing that title anytime soon, I would like him to build his credibility back up by winning feuds that he is apart of from now on You can’t build up a run towards a title without getting some wins under you’re belt, so let’s start off from there

Well Priest is likely winning at Bad Blood (first portion of Gunther's reign has been tying up loose ends: Randy who Gunther didn't decisively beat at KOTR, Sami who was the last to beat him, and soon Priest who Gunther only beat due to interference) and then facing Gunther at Crown Jewel. After Bad Blood Finn should rebound and be booked strongly and when JD inevitably feuds with Wyatt Six I'd like to see the Demon come back and that be the only time Wyatt Six gets dominated (though they'd win the overall feud.) After that have Finn go off on his own and make the WHC his obsession.

Unfortunately, that’s all Finn Balor is nowadays. Constantly losing to every person you face in a singles capacity is the easiest way to lose credibility. Finn hasn’t felt like a huge deal in a very long time, and I’m being delusional once again hoping that they book him to ATLEAST beat Priest at Bad Blood

Look cuh, you are right. I feel like this is exactly why most of the heavy hitters of AEW stay in that company. They know if they came to WWE they'd just be used as a means to put on good matches and put over talent that the higher ups feel should be pushed. Also, I feel like Finn is too selfless. He doesn't mind putting over talent which is why he's never booked the way he should be. He is a talent capable of going toe to toe with Seth Rollins on the mic and in the ring. It's clear they'll never give him a run if he doesn't force their hand. At this point if he doesn't do something us fans will continue to lose hope in him and he will lose any leverage he has besides his loyalty to the company. Shit, they may even release him worst case scenario but it highly unlikely. You never know though, they do random shit sometimes. I trust Triple H and I can see he's looking to build up the future of the company first in order of the men's division, women's division, and tag division in that order but I think he should think more presently because right the Bloodline Story, the Drew/Punk feud, and the Wyatt 6 have the whole company on their back.
