Neuvillette finally understood why he was born in human form after he gained back his authority and memories. There's a text somewhere talking about oceanids. There are some lines saying they were born when egeria shed the first tear. And "the lizards bones were turned to mud from which swans emerged" so it's possible that the first line of oceanids were made from the dead body of the defeated hydro sovereign. The swans being oceanids and the lizard being the carcass of the hydro sovereign. Later egeria tried to turn said oceanids into humans by giving them human form. Neuvillette tells us how Fontainians used to reproduce before he granted them real blood. The fontainians still contained pure primordial energies in their veins and hence the next hydro sovereign was born in human form.

Well archons do choose their successors it was mainly touched upon nahida's story and furina where both egeria and rukkhadevata choose them as their successors it might just be handing one's power to the successor like how after focalors passed away her powers(the water bubbles were going towards neuvi and furina) went to neuvillette and the authority returning to neuvi since furina didn't had divinity it was focalors who was divinity so it couldn't be passed on to her

Funny enough, I pronounce the X in Xbalanque with a chii sound Eschiibalanque. Don't know if it is the right way to pronounce 🤔 (we have a lot of indigenous words in Brazil, so i may be right or not. I don't know if in other parts of South America is the same pronunciation).

I think his lines in Neuvillette's drip was miss leading. One thing we know for sure. Looking at the state of the current elemental dragons. They aint returning for nothing, just look at them. Resurrection or rebirth. Maybe the Primal Fire is like Hu Tao's role of guidance from one cycle to another in a sort of rite of passage? I mean... Hydro the element and the Primordial Sea aren't really on the same page of "roles" but they do have similarities when it comes to water. If the Primal Fire can be traced to fire aspects a little bit, then it can be somewhat a thing that can purify, give warmth or become a tool of great destruction. It COULD be an authority, but I highly doubt it. Since water gave birth and life... Why the fire can't mean death? Of the for main elements, it is one of them. If Water is life, then Fire could be Death (or Rebirth?), I'd assume Geo and Dendro are together in the "Earth" spot and lastly we have time, Wind.
