This is really informative, and looks like a beautiful beach day! We visited Costa Maya 11 years ago and did a cruise ship excursion to Uvero Beach, if I recall correctly. We didn't know about the $4 taxis and YaYa Beach Club then. Thanks for the info!

There’s an El Faro burrito spot in San Francisco that is absolutely amazing! The best burrito I’ve ever had! I will have to do some research to see if there related. Them lobster tacos looks so yummy! Thank you for sharing ❤

Yes!!! Long peer and long walk to get to the taxis!! We've been there, I see they moved the seaweed off to the side. It was crazy when we went. Plus that grass in the water was kind of weird. It was an alright experience for the price. Don't know if we'd do it again. I can go to Costa Maya and not leave the port honestly. Thanks for the name. You talked them tacos up!! LOL

Yes the seaweed can get pretty bad in that area certain times of the year! Maybe one day I’ll stay at port. I just always try to find something outside the gates to do.

Appreciate the video and Info but while making the reservation for the platinum package, there’s an option for either 1.) First Row Lounge Bed for $24.99 or 2.) VIP Cabana Bed for 49.99. The Platinum package already has a lounge sunbed (in the shade) included so are we talking about 3 different options and if so, what’s the difference? Again, lounge sunbed in the shade, first row lounge bed, and VIP Cabana bed. Thanks again

@@lilcookie8778 I would recommend contacting YaYa Beach Club directly with your question. This is a new package since I visited. But the way I understand it is the platinum package comes with a sun bed (or lounger is what I believe they are referring to). If you pay an additional $24.99 you get prime real estate at the oceanfront (front row)- that’s where I was at one point in the video. I think their verbiage is off/confusing. They are referring to a regular lounger as a sub bed. It’s a padded lounger- not an actual bed. The actual beds with curtains and pillows are the VIP Cabana beds. I recommend contacting them to clarify before booking. They are pretty responsive by email.

RacQuelle...great video, thanks! A friend and I will be porting in Costa Maya next month. Honestly, I have a little heartburn at paying upwards of $100 for a beach club experience, just to lay on a beach for a couple hours. Is there anywhere in the Costa Maya port area where we can get on a beach without paying such a high cost? Also, I believe you about those lobster tacos! They look fab!! So can we walk to El Faro or do we take a taxi? Thanks for letting me know. 🙂

Thanks for watching! There isn’t a beach at the port. You’ll have to catch a taxi like I did to Mahahual beach and El Faro. There you will find beach clubs and restaurants. You may be able to find a spot where you can pay for a lounge chair and umbrella. I’m not 100% sure about that though as there are lots of beach clubs there. Have a great time!

How were the vendors there? We went to Jaimes @ blue reef and we enjoyed it but we left early because we got tired of being constantly asked to buy stuff by the vendors.
