Thank you for this video. I absolutely love you and your FB page. This one was super timely because I just realized today that one of the kittens I recently got is in heat (had her less than 1 week lol). She's already scheduled for spay later this month that the rescue had set up so when they said she had the appt but wasn't fixed yet I knew it was bound to happen. She's 5-6 months old. They hadn't had her very long (a much younger kitten I adopted already spayed). I wanted to chime in on one thing. When I got my first kittens (18 years ago) I took them to a spay/neuter clinic as you call it (basically because it was cheaper and I was broke) but there was ZERO issues and later that day they were already fine!! 5 years later I got a kitten and took to a real "vet" place and it was awful, they hurt him or something, I was holding him for 24 hours until he starting acting ok. Now, so many years later and I'm getting the new kittens I'm hell bent on going to a clinic that does these all the time and are master/pros and going to drive hour and a half for the clinic place, twice, cause the itty bitty kitten has one next month.. I don't care. Those clinics are awesome and they know what they're doing!! It's not just the price saving, I don't ever want to go through that vet experience again!

My poor kit kat shes so small and we actually found her at a grocery store recently so we didnt know how old she was. shes doing everything but the spray i feel so bad for her we locked down the house and shes an indoor so i just worry when its time to get it done were to go this vid was super helpful thank you.

Hey! 👋So i've rescued a small cat quite recently and is unsure if she's in heat or not. She does the meowing and yowling every Day but not when shes in the room with me. Shes grooming herself all the time and isnt as affectionate as she was in the beginning. But I have never seen her do That 'stance ' not even with butt strachtes. Does This mean she isnt in heat , and its something Else? Or can it still be heat without the stance.?... (I am getting her neutered in a couple of days regardless) thanks in advance, great video!🤗

She could still be in heat! Not every cat will show every sign. I am glad to hear she is getting spayed! :)

I'm so sorry, 2 hear she only has a few months 2 live 😂😥Prayers. It's sad & heartbreaking 2 hear & c people keep letting their cats get pregnant or dump them off if they r pregnant 💔😭

Here in the United Kingdom 90% of cats are neutered. But even with that percentage, there’s still an overpopulation of cats at animal shelters, so more needs to be done. It really angers me, when I see Tom cats going about with their balls still intact, yowling incessantly for females and spraying even in my home, he keeps getting a cat down the road pregnant. My cat is done, but he still goes and has sex with her, and then she starts behaving in clinging, attention seeking ways, influenced by the sexual behaviour with that Tom cat - with his testicles still intact!
