With a buck transformer you can charge directly from a solar panel, no charge controller or battery needed, with a 48v to 12v buck transformer and a small inverter you can charge even a 9ah tool battery, and with just the buck transformer and a 12v outlet you could charge any phone or eneloop batteries, this option is a long term last ditch system that works and will outlast any power station.

Get you any size of the kids pools or above ground pools,I have a 12ft by 3 and a half foot deep one was perfect when I was out of power for 4 days just for flushing the toilet

In your first aid kit get Burn Bandages. If you get burnt bad you want them!!!! I know this first hand as I'm recovering from my pants catching fire and burning my right leg on the calf.

Ooh jeez, hope you're on the mend! I use Burn Jel in packets. Burnt my arm on the oven and man it made it so much easier to deal with. Takes the heat out of the burn instantly.

Having some bi carb soda , pink salt an aquarium air bubbler and air stone and an aquarium water test kit one that tests for ammonia , nitrate , nitrite and the PH . bout 60 bucks for that kit .. test the water .. add bi carb to raise the ph if needed. add pink salt to give minerals to old water and add air to refresh the water if it has been sitting for awhile with the air bubbler. Low mineral water with low air content is bad for you . Also.. water that is too low in the PH level is also bad for you .
