Thank you for all these videos. I’ve learn so much. I’ve been on depo provera for 12 + years because of endometriosis pain. I’m planning on coming off because of bone loss. I’m changing up my diet and going to try some of your supplements recommendations.

Dear Dr. Mills, I hope you will read this, because after the aromatase information (the active enzyme transforming testosterone into estrogen) I do wonder now about the testosterone, like: does that mean there may have also been too much testosterone (being able then to transform into estrogen) build up AND/OR may the testosterone levels been "normal" and the endometriosis leaves the women then with a lack of this hormone, being testosterone? - Thank you sooo much for your work and effort, it is greatly appreciated

Hi! Either situation is possible but fortunately the approach to normalizing aromatase also helps testosterone levels and general hormone balance 🙌🏼

I love your channel. I’m so glad I it. I wanted to let you know that diaphragmatic and thoracic endometriosis is actually not that rare at all. I am not 100% sure where you get your information from. I know it’s always credible sources, but if you ever want to truly do a deep dive, diaphragmatic and diaphragmatic and thoracic area is not that rare at all. Do you still see patients? I would like to make an appointment. I’ve been searching for a functional doctor for a few years. I hope you have a great day.

Hi! Thanks for the information - I have to say that in all my years of practice I had never heard or come across it, however probably if one has it one then meets many other people with it and the experience is not felt to be rare! I do not take patients outside of B.C. because of licencing requirements, I help women through my health promotion programs internationally :) hope this helps!

@@dr.patriciamills several excision surgeons in the US have at least 50% of their patience with diaphragmatic and thoracic endometriosis. Thank you so much for what you do and helping others and educating them. I will continue my search for a great functional doctor just like yourself.

Thank you for your videos. They are so helpful. I am following a whole food plant based diet to control symptoms. Which has worked for years. I had stress at my work place and this possibly contributed in the symptoms to coming back. Recent scan showed many cysts and lesions . How often in your opinion should you have to check your cysts for cancer. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

Hi, thank you for your feedback and for sharing your story ❤️ I am not familiar with how often cysts should be checked for cancer, I wish I had a great answer for you. It likely depends on a number of factors that the doctors providing your care have to take into consideration. Sending you healing vibes!
