The dead heart clings to its lust and desires, even if these are likely to incur Allah’s displeasure and wrath. It worships things other than Allah, and its love and its hatreds, and its giving and its withholding, arise from its whims, which are of paramount importance to it and preferred above the pleasure of Allah. Its whims are its imam. Its lust is its guide. Its ignorance is its leader. Its crude impulses are its impetus. It is immersed in its concern with worldly objectives. It is drunk with its own fancies and its love for hasty, fleeting pleasures. It is called to Allah and the Akhirah from a distance but it does not respond to advice.

The world seems to be filled with dead hearts. Only a few left that have fear of Allah swt and feel pain for those that are left alone to endure so much physical and emotional pain while everyone is watching. May they be given sabr and nasr by Allah swt.

My heart no longer wants anything. I have a brain injury after disobeying allah for many years. I forget who i am; a huge memory loss. I cannot understand things anymore. I cant learn. I feel dead inside. I don't feel at all relaxed in myself. I want to cry, but i cant. I miss my old self. I remember being in the masjid many years ago, just feeling ready to die due to the peace and tranquillity i felt; how could i have let myself go off the straight path after that? I have nothing in my brain, and nothing nourishes me. It's getting worse. I became heedless, undoubtedly. I feel so lost.

May Allah guide you. You will be in junnah Insha allah. Dont miss your 5 times prayer even if you dont want u still have to pray. And also try to understand Quran and Allah through his names u can listen tafseer and also dont forget to do zikr(remembring to Allah). If ur heart is really dead u may feel discomfert by doing good you may never want to read or listen Quran but dont give up try hard becuz Allah is the only one who can give your heart life Allah is Rehman and Raheem dont give up becuz shytan wants u to be in hell but u dont shytan is humans worst enime and also try to listen about Allah punishments it may can make you remorsefull . Dont try yoga in this condition becuz in my knowlege its stanic you can research on it. And please dont be harsh with anyone and also dont say anything even outloud infront of ur parents quit all haram relotionships and helping needy it will make ur heart soft be in a good compney can also completely change you.dont forget to pray jummah prayer learn about Islam more and more balance ur fear and hope in Allah. I was like you too but i think now im better than before. Allah loves the people who repent from their sins. But sinning again repent again and sin and repent again and again it can make ur remorse lesser remorse is a very important condition of repenting. May Allah guied you.

@@Muslim................273 Salam, I don't know what to do, I was already in the middle of a severe sin/feeling, I tried to stop but it was too hard, it blocked my connection with الله, on top of that i had extreme OCD which made me unrestable, until yesterday I felt a coldness in my heart, and a coldness come out of my ears, and a cold sort if bitter breeze that passed through my upper body, is my heart truly dead, I dont know, I cant cry at all, and I don't know if I should do anything now, I feel emotionless and I can't feel guilty or happy anymore, and when I try to cry, its as if my heart if absent, it just leads to me getting burps stuck in my chest, Is there any hope for me? Or have I caused destruction upon myself, if only I was even 2 months back, I was a Muslim and I was happy although I had a hard heart, even then I could still feel happiness and I could shed tears out if happiness when I glorified الله, why did I do this to myself?

The worst thing I ever did was love a Muslim man, save his life, change his life entirely, reverted myself to Islam only to lose him through divorce. 10 years of my life for absolutely nothing. It has been a year now. My heart doesn't exist and I have no hope for the future. Almost 40 and no kids. What a disaster. I used to be such a helpful person. I radiated joy from the very center of my chest. I helped any and everyone and had so much compassion for humans and animals. Nobody and nothing is for me now. I suffer all by myself and am definitely falling away from islam.

My dear sister, do not give up! I cannot say I know what your going through and I'm sorry you went through all of this but do not lose hope. Even I myself have my trials and difficulties and I know I have to improve the state of my heart sincerely.
