I have to questions for you 1. How does Short covering in options effects Spot price? 2. We naturally say if price go above this level smart money start panicking and short cover will happen but they are smart money (institutions) they have the robust Risk management and they guaranteed put a SL so how they going to panicking. Or can I say the OI decreasing change occurs due to price Hit the SL rather than panic?

exactly they put a stop loss also , so if their SL got hit then the short positions they have created they have to cover that and to do so they have to buy what they have shorted. This is the reason.

Do big players exercise Stop Loss level in all their trades with such large capital over time, e.g. during accumulation and distribution? It does not sound logical if they do that. Then they must have other strategies for their risk management, which need some study. Stop loss is practiced by retailers, and the big players can take advantage if the liquidity of the stop loss is high. We need to re-think retailers' strategies, not just dependent on stop loss.
