Anyone else watch Sean Payton’s presser this week? The fans and the media have anointed Bo Nix as week one start even before the first padded practice. While Sean Payton, the man who’ll make the call shot down such nonsense. He’s gonna let this play out…

Hello @weekenders. That is my point. That is why I said I don't know who is going to be the Broncos starter come opening day. Yes Denver took Nix at 12, but does that mean he is the automatic starter? I say not so fast. That is why there is a qb competition. We NEED the BEST qb out there and NOT just because we drafted Nix at 12. Thanks again for your comment, your support.

@broncosbreakdown6854 crazy to start a rookie in this league. Having #1 at the end of the season Is far superior than having him at the start of the season. Feeding Nix to the wolves is stupid. Denver needs more pieces. Keep Bo on the bench. Let the Mormon get his acl destroyed. Ds are too fast at every position. Ask Richardson in Indy.

The real question. Does Bo Nix win MVP this year? Because we already know after minicamp and OTA’s Bo Nix is better than John Elway. That’s how ridiculous this has all become. Don’t be surprised if Zach Wilson is your week one starter. He was a better prospect coming out, has a bigger arm, and has more NFL experience than Bo Nix. Most scouts had a 3rd round grade on Bo Nix. The Broncos WAY over drafted him. Of course they’re gonna talk him up. Denver was wise to take a 6th round flyer on Wilson. If anyone can make an NFL QB out of Wilson, it’s Sean Payton. It’s going to be interesting watching this play out.

However, I don't care who starts juat as long as we win. If it's Wilson, ok. I just don't want Nix to be thrown to the wolves. Thanks again for your comments and your support.

@@broncosbreakdown6854 I don’t fault Denver for taking Bo Nix at 12. They didn’t have a second round pick. So I get why he was over drafted. I just see a lot of Kenny Pickett in Bo Nix. I think your setting him up for failure with all the hype.

@thomasmoshier3920 That is one of my fears concerning Nix. Like I mentioned, I don't want his confidence shattered if they put him in too soon. That said, if they have him sit and learn, they will be criticized for that as well. Basically, Denver is in a no-win situation UNLESS Nix starts, and the Broncos go on a 5-1 run, then all will be forgotten. Thanks for your comment.

@@broncosbreakdown6854 this is where Sean Payton comes into play. He’s running the show in Denver. Not the GM. Payton wasn’t afraid to cut Russell Wilson. He won’t be afraid to sit Nix if need be. Look, I have no idea who’ll come out on top of the QB battle. But it’s always best to get two bites out of the apple. Nix and Wilson give you that. You’ve got the head coach right, he’ll find a way to make it work….

@thomasmoshier3920 I totally agree with you 100%. Sean Payton will do what he feels best, just like he did with Drew Brees in New Orleans. I also know, he could care less what the media says regarding what he does. Sean will do what Sean will do. So if Nix sits, it's because Sean feels either Wilson or Stidham is the better fit. I was just bringing the topic and article that Jeff Legwald feels and believes that Wilson is out performaning Nix due to his NFL experience compared to Nix's none. I'm NOT saying that Wilson is better than Nix, what I was saying is Jeff Legwald was saying that Wilson, because of his NFL experience and being under Sean Paytons system for a year, seems to have the upper hand. Also, none of us knows for sure who the starting qb is. That is why Payton is having a qb competition. Thanks again for your comment, and continue to watch and support.

Thank you for ridding us Dimples. I hope you don’t have to rely on him for any extended periods time. You’ll never feel more frustrated than watching him let you down time after time. He’s a nice enough kid (although entitled in a very immature way) but he orchestrated my least favorite & most frustrating seasons to be a lifelong NYJ fan.
