IS200 TURBO POV Driving gone wrong

What would be better for me for a daily driver? A m62 supercharger for about 250hp or td04 turbo for about 300hp+? Stock internals.

You won't normally get 300bhp from a td04 turbo. It took us a lot of development and testing to get a healthy 300+ bhp from my car. The supercharger will constantly be loud and won't feel as fast as the turbo. I'd personally go turbo. If you spend £1750 on a supercharger kit you can expect 250bhp, if you spend £3000 on a turbo you can expect 300bhp + but you need to get it built by the right people. Id suggest four paw racing because they develop actual race cars and will know exactly what your car is capable of, test the engine and from there build the turbo kit. My car is currently the most powerful stock internal is200 in the UK because it was built by them. (This video was filmed before they built my engine)

I haven't got forged rods. But if you want and are serious about making a 1gfe fast, give four paw racing a call. They know pretty much everything about these cars

It was just after a short drive so it was relatively warm.

@@evolad2463 yeah, you are right, I definitely treat my car better now. Keep in mind that my oil temp is taken after going through the oil cooler so it's going to be hotter than on the gauge.

Your English is good! Yeah, it shouldn't be a problem, the heat is far away enough, I also haven't had a problem with it yet.

Hey I just got a lexus is300 2002 and got a turbo kit on Amazon called xspower the kit let me down it didnt even included intercooler piping. Anyways I started putting it in but I have been having so many troubles I can't get the oil return or feed line started is there any way you could help me out or let me know of a trick you used to get the oil lines finshed quicker I really dont like seeing my car just sit there not running.

Was it the two sensors that should be on the downpipe? They throw a cel and if you mate them together that works.

I can't remember exactly what they are. I'm sure you can Google it and check the forums. Some people do combine the 2 but sometimes you will still get warning lights so it's probably best to keep them separate.

How did you remove the sticky dash coat?

I used isopropyl alcohol and a microfibre towel. Works really well, and the result afterwards is awesome. I coated it with a dashboard protection spray and a bit of silicone tyre shine to protect it and make it look nicer.

Hi, 2.5 from turbo but from the bottom of the downpipe it's 3". It's all a straight pipe from the turbo back.

This is a turbo 1gfe. And if you are asking me which engine I prefer, 1gfe turbo (with forged rods) because the power line will be better.

@@ao8271 damn never thought they’d take that kind of power even forged, hoping to make 300 350 with one. I heard they take up to 270 with stock internals not sure if that’s true or not though

@@99mintaltezza2 not on stock internals. The rods are the main problem they are too think. Get a new crank and fuel injectors. A decent Turbo and an e85 tune u can make a lot of power. The 1g-fe is very similar to a vvti 1jzE

Yes, stock bottom end. At the time of the video it was running 6psi so very low boost. Still haven't checked the car but we are sure it's some sort of air sensor.

I got it working again, once it's done it should be on 12 psi and making somewhere around 300bhp

Looks like one of ignition coil gone... happened to me before.

Yeah, it was weird because the ECU cut the engine after a couple of seconds. I thought if it was one of the coil packs, it would still start, just on less cylinders.
