IS300 2JZ-GE - HKS Hi Power muffler sound test

The muffler my car came with. Sound test prior to swapping it out

Completely stock minus the muffler. Auto transmission

Hi power came with the car. I replaced it with a Hi Silent power

Was there any issues lining up? I’m assuming u cut the old and welded the new on, but was there any issues with the tip destroying your bumper

None, the is300/is200/altezza all use the same catback so they will all bolt up no problem. One thing to note is that models in the USA have increased crash protection so the bumper protrudes further, meaning that JDM mufflers and mufflers from other parts of the world will sit shy of the bumper, while US manufactured mufflers will sit proud of the bumper

@@ryandang246 haha if you're concerned about the neighbours I'd recommend just getting the hi silent power. There's another video on my channel where I sound test that one too. To me this one gave me a headache from the drone while the hi silent was perfect. It does hang lower than the hi power though
