This relates with me, My grandfather was sirpanch of my village. I am not bragging but the was very polite and honest during his period. I remember my family telling story of Grandfather beating my father for stealing crackers which were brought to be cracked in village fair, he was that much loyal towards the village. But next time when he stood for elections he lost with only 4% votes. Thats when I understood the whole village is corrupt. this still happens and I hear my friends saying that man should have won he invested ( distributed 22 Lakhs). I hear them saying if u have 30-40 lakhs stand for elections u will easily win it. so whoever is reading this please what happened is happened we cant change the past generations and there habits, what we can change is the present and future generation, and in some areas the change is visible.
