Get to think of it all the other young characters of their generation (cousins) would have made for a better lead pair if the story had been written for them. Also it's bizarre how a Harvard University graduate falls for the uneducated unsophisticated girl. Imagine she actually put tomatoes in expensive handbag and juice in his shoes. And he was extremely rude to her for several episodes in the beginning. How could she fall for him? It's just unrealistic!
