Not about his ego struggling of course, normally he wants to believe and gets happy and when Khushi had told he was happy but the scene he saw shyam hugged her and Khushi said those to him he can't get over it and can't give meaning to it but at the airport he remembers what Khushi said to him at holy when she was drunk that her heart beated faster when he came closer to her and he understood the truth and turned to Khushi but at that time shyam's men came to kidnap him and he couldn't go near his Khushi.

​@@ayselaker6258yes you are right. Many viewers have missed that he actually stopped at the entrance and was about to go back when Shayam's men got to him. He was too vulnerable because at the age of 14 he had to witness how his father betrayed his mother and she committed suicide. He was forever haunted by it. That's why he couldn't get over the fact that kushi too betrayed not only him but his sister when she's expecting. It would take a lot of time and effort to revise his judgment.

It's not Arnav's fault that he is acting like this. The Shyam Khushi Hug scene is burned into every cell of his brain.For the first time when he finally went to tell his feelings to Khushi after breaking the wall he built around himself , he saw Khushi and Shyam hugging each other for so long, Shyam saying he doesn't love Rani Sahiba but Khushi. Khushi who usually would throw tea at Arnav's face for holding her duppatta, didn't even slap Shyaam for manhandling and hugging her. And what she said to Shyam after that made things even worse for Arnav. Even I couldn't bare watching Khushi letting Shyam hug her for so long and did nothing after that. Arnav felt so betrayed, so fooled by his loved ones. He built back fortress around himself this time instead of just wall. It is not easy for him to trust anyone any longer. Specially when it brings out anger whenever he thinks about that terrace scene, and his anger prevents him from thinking properly and even suppresses other emotions he have. And Khushi is not doing enough to make Arnav realise the truth. She has plenty of proof already to prove her innocence but instead she goes to Shyam again. She could have reminded Arnav about that engagement Ring from Shyam, or when she told that she broke her engagement or could have included her family to tell the truth about Shyam. Even Arnav knew that Khushi got engaged to some paying guest Shyam back then. But he was not thinking clearly at this point of time too. She could have told him, that she wanted to tell him everything on the terrace scene day itself but couldn't because same day Anjali di got pregnant and she couldn't tell anyone.

I was also surprised that Khushi had so much proof to prove her innocence but she didn’t use any of those! & more annoying is that, to prove her right she again went to Shyam after knowing how wicked he is!! How come!! Khushi could involve payel or Buaji to clear all the misunderstandings!! Instead she involved Shayam, the culprit & what was the result?? She endangered Arnav's life 😢

She had plenty of things to prove her innocence. Arnav was feeling so betrayed by Khushi, the one he loved the most in the world. How could he bring himself to believe someone in an instant, all he knows is Khushi might be playing another game. But, despite all this... He did care for her even in the burning hate he had for her. She should have tried harder but you know what she brought back Shyam again in the house after Arnav had slapped him ans sent him flying out of the house. Her logic was, Shyam might have changed. To that Arnav's reaction was so heart wrenching " I always knew it, kabhi kisi ko apne itne Paas mat aane do, kyunki fir Vahi log tumhe chhot pahuchaate. Galti meri hai ki maine tumhe apne itne Paas aane diya". To which Khushi got angry with him.... Haan Arnav ne thoda galat bol diya lekin vo galat nahi tha Iss baat pr. Yes, if Khushi had brought back Shyam knowing that he is a snake and she is bringing him just for the sake of health of Dii. Arnav would have understood but to try and convince Arnav that Shyam might have changed is just next level insane. How could she trust someone who almost got married with you, who almost killed Arnav, who betrayed Dii on every step. Khushi is so illogical at times. And yet our Arnav apologized to Khushi because he knows now that she is innocent. That's the difference between That Arnav and now Arnav. Meanwhile, Khushi doing all the stupid things in the world. She got married to Arnav and never actually tried to know why did he took such drastic step and why did he become so evil while he was being such nice to her especially while Payal and Akash's wedding preparations. He also served food as waiter for her. How could she not see what went wrong. Don't get me wrong, I like Khushi very much but after terrace scene everything was ruined. She should have told Arnav atleast. They were getting so close.
