This young lady Julia Lange has a wonderful smooth touch. As with Ana Vidovic, she plays Albeniz' Asturias that captures anyone's ability to appreciate the classics, very differently. Both equally very pleasing to the ear. Vidovic chooses to be more 'aggressive' which makes us shiver with goosebumps............. however, Julia's own gently touch also gives us music lovers a physical reaction to her mastery of this piece in her own way.

Your execution is the best I have ever heard because you give the strumming at the right time. The interpreters I have heard before find it difficult to go from tremolo to rasggada and what they do is leave a space of time between one and the other to facilitate movement, but that breaks the rhythm of the piece despite which they do it. You do not. You give the strumming right at the exact moment and for that I congratulate you.

She did an amazing job! I did find three moments that were slightly off but that is not to knock her Talent. It took Andre Segovia 70 years to master the art of the Spanish classical guitar and he was playing since he was a very young boy. If no one knows who Andre Segovia is they should Google him. He was truly a master of the classical guitar . Now back to this young lady, she performed a beautiful strong set and is well on her way. Amazing job and talent!👏👏👏👏👏

a666n... If people haven't seen or heard Maestro Segovia playing, what are they doing here, making unqualified criticism about this young lady's excellent playing.. I saw Segovia at Newcastle City Hall, when he was 86 yrs old, not long before he passed away, and it was sad to see him forget parts of the most famous pieces, like this one. He smoothly carried on from the beginning, in a very professional manner!.. I did the same thing on stage in a rock and roll group, in the 1960'sthrough pure tiredness, working a full shift underground in a coal mine, then playing all night.. and I was only 19 yrs old! This girl played this with no dropped notes.. so in reality she surpassed Segovia... only by comparison! How about that folks?!!!

Yes Julia! I liked it:). Both of your claims are idiotic. An argument is either accurate or it isn't. If you think the name of the person is relevant to the content of the statement, you're an idiot. Secondly, if you think you need to be more skilled at something than another person in order to recognize when they've made an error, you're also an idiot. If I know how Asturias is meant to be played, I don't need to be able to play it myself in order to recognize whether someone else can or can't play it correctly.
