Izo can the interior doors 🚪 be fixed without that space left between the door top and lintel? like mlango iingie tu bila iyo space hapo juu. And what is the reason why iyo space inabaki hapo juu and how can it be avoided?

The reason why that space is left is because of natural light to enter if ur using the wash room during the day u don't have to put on the light and also Incase someone has left the light on it can be seen and be switched off.

@@jamesnyaga7331 thanks for the response bro, however, I'm not convinced because you're talking of the natural light to the washroom but I can see nearly all rooms have that space there...and you will find that even in well lighted houses there is still that space left there, so I just needed to know it importance..or are those spaces for the doors 🚪 longer than the door itself hence leading to that space left on top there?

@@BenChuchuSenior. May be for the 2nd reason i.e in case a light is left on then it can be detected and put off..but otherwise I also don't see the sense of putting them if at all they don't bring the natural light to the house during the day

That space is brought about by the height of the house. A glass will be fixed there
