Give us less Steve Farell and Dion Sanders finding ways to talk about themselves and more Deccan Jones and Sammy Baugh reminding us how the game used to be played.

Super Bowl 43 is often talked about as the best Super Bowl of all time. sorry to that tool Amendolara that it wasn't the Cowboys or Giants or 49ers playing the Stealers. That game also featured the greatest WR of all time in Larry Fitzgerald.

I'm just glad that Super Bowl 20 wasn't on the list. That 85 Bears defense was the most dominant defense of that year (except against Miami's Dan Marino's quick release & super fast receivers) and arguably of all time . But, with that being said I will never ever forgive Mike Ditka for not giving Walter Payton the ball at the one, with the game already won, instead of "The Fridge" for that touchdown. For all he had done for that franchise through out his career. He carried that team on his back and legs. And he should have carried that one. RIP Sweetness, the way & style you ran was "Sweet"

Ditka has gone on record as saying that was his biggest regret. Given the huge amount of respect he had for Payton, I tend to believe him. However, I'm not entirely sure I believe Ditka when he said that he did not realize that Payton hadn't yet scored a TD. So there's that too.

I would argue super bowl 49 should be #1. There was no crazy leads, a lot of momentum shifts. Two crazy last minute plays. Patriots comeback in the 4th quarter. Etc.. it had everything.

Super Bowl XIII had the only Super Bowl between teams with multiple recent wins. It had, what, 16 or 17 Hall of Famers. It had two of the three most popular teams. And it was exciting. It should be top 5.

Brady’s 3 rings after it kinda dull the effect but the feeling of Kearse’s catch in 49 being that year’s Tyree and pushing the Brady’s ring that much further away as well as crowning a new powerhouse in the Seahawks. It was so monumental. And then they didn’t run it.

52 was 100000x a better game in every way shape and form than 51. 51 had a great final quarter. 52 had a great everything. From start to finish. 52 also broke every record that make a game exciting and had the best story. Most yards in SB history. Almost most points in Sb history Nonstop action with most big plays in history ( plays over 20 yards) greatest combined QB performance in history. Fewest punts in history (1). Fewest penalties in history (1) More memorable plays including philly special which is considered top 3 calls of all time where 4th, 3rd, and 2nd string players beat the empire. Falcons did what all teams besides New York do against the empire, blow an easy win. Nick Foles played as perfect as a human can play from start to finish and STILL never had a second to breathe. Ryan took the worst sack in history to keep the game from ending early and being a snooze fest. 49 is debatable. It’s between 42, 49, and 52 for best 3 all time. 43 and 51 both only had interesting finishes helped by the refs and stupid decisions to stop them from being boring. 42, 49, 52 all were battles through and through.

Since this list, there's been at least one, if not 3 games that should be on this list LI, the first and so far the only SB to go to over time, LIV when the Chiefs overcame a 10 point 4th quarter deficit and LII, when Philadelphia won its Super Bowl. Also Super Bowl X, wasn't on the list, but it should be, not only because it was the 10th anniversary, but also because it was a great game, there was Dallas's Percy Howard, a man who only made one NFL reception his entire career and it happened to be a Super Bowl touchdown, also that game went right down the wire.

Super bowl 3 was the game that validated the NFL AFL merger. There was genuine talk about allowing an all nfc Superbowl which would have been horrible for the sport. The game itself was not particularly great. Low scoring ball control with excellent defense has never been exciting for me to watch. Might be others' idea of a good game but Unitas wasn't in until the end and the Jets let that excellent defense choke the Colts. It was good to watch once and definitely should be on the list. Thanks for sharing, these are great fun!

Denver over Green Bay in SB XXXII was the biggest SB upset since the AFL Jets in SB III. Denver went in as a 12 1/2 point underdog to the defending champion Packers at a time when oddsmakers never went beyond 8 points. That game certainly DOES belong in the top 5.

SB3 should have been top 3. Its impact rippled for the entire 1970s. Shula probably doesn't leave Baltimore if he wins. Namath's star would have dimmed below HOF status. The 1969 Chiefs would have been the giant killers, and with Shula in Baltimore, would likely have won at least one more.

Super Bowl 47 was rigged. I know it sounds like sour grapes but at 41:12 Kurt Warner nearly has his jersey ripped off by Deshea Townsand, no call. 41:18, Tim Hightower gets blasted right in his back, no call. But the worst part of that play was Steve Breaston and Larry Fitzgerald arrive at the same time and both hit Harrison at the same time keeping him upright long enough to be able to score even though still photos show Harrison's hand with the ball hits the ground before he scores. Then to cap it all off to this day Santonio Holmes never had both feet down(every conceivable angle shows he didn't have both feet down) then used the ball as a prop which was supposed to be a penalty. This is what happens when a team is in the officials pocket because no way in hell could they allow the Cardinals to be champions.

Sorry but SB 3, 47,23, 32 and 38(okay 38 would be on list lower end) made the list but an updated list wouldn't include them. SB 3- was more of the lead up and upset then actual game. 47- only remember it for the lights going off. It was a pure supernatural game. 23- remember it because of ending not the game itself. 32- They only put it on because Elway won the game. Now if you updated the list would have 51( number 1), 52( number 4) and 34( number 6) 51- Most heartbreaking blown lead and best comeback 52- over 1k yards, greatest play calling, philly special, Foles beating Brady. Honestly cried tears of joy after that game in my Mcnabb jersey. 34-come on that game cam as promised. Rams and Titans came one yard short of the first OT in a SB.

@@msolec2000 Trust me after the 2018 AFC championship and this year Bills vs Chiefs game the OY rules need to be fixed. But SB 51 belong because it was 28-3 with a quarter and a half left and when to OT.

The BAL/SF SB was rigged. That was blatant interference at the end that the refs didn't call because Ray Lewis was supposed to retire a champ. The SEA/NE SB & the ATL/NE SB make me physically ill, especially the SEA one because of how much I like Russell Wilson

The BAL?SF Super Bowl should not have even come down to that play. Baltimore was blowing them out. The momentum of the game changed with the 34 minute delay. BTW< it was not blatant holding . They were both going at each other.

His performance is one of the best of all time in the Super Bowl. Because of that great performance, the game itself was a rout that was over by halftime. Though interestingly, Washington did at the time set a record for largest deficit overcome to win a Super Bowl as Denver had jumped to a 10-0 lead before the 2nd quarter massacre

Kind of surprised at the guys in this video bad mounthing the Packers vs Broncos Superbowl. Two of the best quarterbacks to ever play going head to head. It was a good close game, and it was the first time an AFC team won the Superbowl since the Raiders beat the Redskins in Superbowl 18 which was a 13 year streak for the NFC. Seems like a pretty significant Superbowl to me.
