Excellent video, i must compliment you on the vibrant art, the past and the future bizarrely coexisting together, I am not sure out of nostalgia or a pragmatic solution. I agree , good luck if you have any ill advised notions of changing cultural norms, you simply live and become part of the the fabric maybe on the far edges at times and sometimes in the very center becoming a part of it as best as one can, eat the food they eat, go to temple, work in the fields some, learn the language, but most of all learn to find peace and calmness and acceptance of the cultural differences. Over time it gets better. When I first arrived, I could eat almost none of the food i went to markets, and to stores, found some familiar items and over the next month or two I realized that those foods from the west, for the most part just do not work here, it is too hot, the air is different, the light is different, your digestion will change, your eyesight may change, everything is different, you Learn, there is a reason for everything the locals do, for the most part, they do what is tried and true and what works best, as you say watch and learn, notice details it matters. Overtime and slowly you evolve.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! I am so glad you enjoyed the video and appreciated the vibrant art. Your insights on adapting to cultural differences are spot on. It is true, immersing oneself in the local way of life, from food to customs, can be a transformative experience. It is all about finding peace and acceptance in the differences, and over time, these differences become a part of you. Your journey of adapting to the local cuisine and lifestyle is inspiring and a great reminder that patience and openness can lead to a deeper understanding and appreciation of a new culture. Thanks for sharing your experience, Christian. 🙏🙏🙏
