Toutes les grandes stars françaises se sont succédées sur le plateau de LA FETE DE LA CHANSON FRANCAISE pour revisiter les plus belles chansons du siècle.
Un voyage dans le temps (et le tempo) : les artistes d’aujourd’hui revisitent pendant 3h30, les chansons de tout un siècle, mais aussi de demain, puisque la nouvelle scène est à l’honneur dans ce programme, des images d’archives font découvrir des petites pépites du patrimoine depuis 1914.
Un spectacle inédit, de la musique « en live », des artistes de talent et une création sans cesse renouvelée.

Fascinating analysis. See also my own comment three months after yours. But the song makes clear that she is searching for her lost love, more than for an explanation of the meaning of life. Why does she expect to see her ex-lover in her apparently random travels? Is that not statistically unlikely? I think therefore that this endless journey can serve as a metaphor. Whatever. It is still a cracking good song.

Magnifique chanson souvenirs de Willie Lamothe

Mon arrière grand-père a écrit cette chanson, il s'appelle Gérald (Gerry Joly). Bobby Haché et Willi Lamothe l'avaient visité il y tres longtemp pour avoir la permission de chanter la chanson. Mon grand-père a accepté en autant que les mots et musique ne change pas, ceci est la vrai histoire. Willi et Bobby n'ont n'y un ni l'autre composé cette chanson, ils l'ont popularisés.

I think that it is Mile after Mile and not thousand because the writer wrote this song because he was missing his wife while he was on the road singing

Very nice. A cracking good song. Except for the fourth line of the refrain - which has too many words and does not rhyme with the second line. Gerald Joly actually wrote: "J'ai tellement besoin de toi, cherie". But this original version has got lost, and everybody sings: "Tu ne peux pas savoir comme je peux t'aimer" - as does Isabelle.

Après votre spectacle à Limoges et encore toute ailleurs dans mes pensées j'ai eu la mauvaise idée de prendre le boulevard et bing dans la descente je me suis faite flashée😭😭 Pourvu que la loi n'interdise pas de prendre le...
