Yesss I totally agree with your points! I find that reselling your bags is like cleansing because sometimes having items in your wardrobe you don't use just drags you down! Thanks for the tips girl! 🥰

Hi Hun hope your keeping well & safe! Just a quick note regarding selling on eBay. I would advise selling on eBay when they have a £1/$1 selling offer, that way when your item sells you only pay that amount and just pay the PayPal fees. I think it works out really beneficial as a seller and you don’t lose too much of your money. Only thing is that your item needs to sell within 1 month as the offer from them is only active within that time frame. I also just sold my black jumbo and just got over $7000 due to the £1 selling fee. Best wishes and yes let’s have a video of all the items you sold. ♥️

The disadvantage of The Purse Affair from the perspective of a European buyer is that despite a favorable currency exchange rate we do pay duties and taxes on products that come from Australia. So you paid duties and taxes when you imported them to Australia and we pay on duties and taxes on top of that for importing them back to Europe. It makes more sense to buy things on the European pre-loved market.

I have to say Lux it forward consignment in Australia is absolutely fantastic. I sell my luxury bags on FB groups. We use PayPal for goods and services only. PayPal only takes 3% of the sales. I prefer selling there than consignment, ebay, Poshmark, or other sites bc they take so much.

May I ask you how the payment is made? :)) Are there buyers who accept to pay upfront?

@@alexandrinaboscanean5729 Yes, buyers pay the invoice I send to them on PayPal. And then I ship the item. If it is paid for goods and services or PayPal invoice, both parties are protected if something goes wrong. If it is paid by friends and family or another option like Venmo, Zelle, etc it won't be protected.

Great tips! OMG eBay drives me wild! I ditched it years ago after receiving a fake LV that looked nothing like the listing photos. It's better now, but it still makes me very nervous! Overnight I had a message from a buyer for my Gucci clutch (she begged me 10 days ago to sell to her, to send an offer for her to accept so no one else could buy it and she would pay today, I did all that because I'm a reasonable person and understand money can be very tight) saying that actually can she cancel please? It's an extra headache I don't need! I think I'll check out consignment in the UK. Lots to think about, thank you! 😘

I found this video because I am trying to sell two never worn chanel bags that are beautiful just not the best colors for me and my updated wardrobe. Fashionphile quoted me extremely low and I have tried IG resellers and they want hugeee commissions to the point where I would loose thousands on my bags and I have just been so discouraged. this video was helpful I just wish the resell market did not try and lowball so much :(

A few years ago, i sold a YSL purse that I bought from another seller on eBay. The new buyer stated that the purse I sold was fake. I told paypal customer Service that i bought the bag from another seller on ebay, Lesson learn, they sold me a fake bag and i sold it without knowing it was counterfeit. PayPal refunded the buyer and i never got my bag back from the buyer and from the first time seller. A-lot of scammer.
