not opt word comes to mind to express what feelings one has on hearing this. Simply superb, what a rendition; what a memory; I felt it is a curse on me not to learn sangeetham, even though my father is a nathaswara vidwan who had the capacity of doing raga alapana for about 20 plus minutes without taking narukku from his mouth maneuvering his breath through his mouth via nathaswaram, who is no more now. But, he left me an inheritance to hear songs like this and get mesmerized. I am 60 now. I have no hesitation to fall on your feet for your raga alapana. while typing this tears rolled my cheeks. Umpteen no. of thanks and ananthakodi namaskarams, amma. May god bless you a very very long life even taking one or two years from me for addition.

As a student learning Carnatic music for a very long time now, I have always been in search of facts and information/ trivia on different compositions or Ragams. This is the only full-fledged set of videos that I found. Although I don't understand Tamil completely, I make a complete effort and listened to lots of episodes. I wish more content like this comes from different Carnatic musicians for in-depth knowledge for students like us.

As far as the Carnatic music is concerned she has done extensive studies in most of the popular ragams with beautiful and sweet voices. I don''t think she needs any more studies required for her PhD in music. We would like to hear the award of her PhD. We pray for her long life to teach us more and more about Carnatic music.
