What a wonderful alapana in kaanada ragam? There are so many film songs in this ragam. " mullai malar melae " and " poomalai vangi vandaen. Also " nee vara villai enil " from " mangaiyar thilakam by Sathyan.

I has gone through all the volume except 7 and 8 which was not able to get from net. Very beautiful. Even though I am very poor to Carnatic Music, after this I am able to understand something which I may have to practice. Neraya Peru irukanga... But the problem is many compositions in particular ragam are mentioned in different languages like Telugu, Sanskrit which are not understood by common people like myself. These legends should have given a thought about it and could have created similar Kirtis and varnams in Tamil, would have reached common people of tamilnadu long back. Carnatic trinities are surely be appreciated but if it doesn't reach common people what is the use even it is Amrutham. !!!?
