Commenting on your statement that said We are not under a covenant but under grace. “to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.” Hebrews 12:24 There is a new covenant that Jesus established with His blood. Both the old and new covenant were established by blood. The old the blood of bulls, the new the blood of Christ. “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” Hebrews 10:16 The 10 commandments are a part of this new covenant, just as much as it was in the old covenant. Only this time, it is made plain that it’s a matter of the heart. The law is spiritual, not a legalistic set of rules. If we have Christ in us, we will be keeping this law in our hearts. If we are still lying, cheating, stealing, committing adultery and fornication, or have lustful thoughts, etc, then the law isn’t in our hearts, which means we don’t really have Christ in us after all. Narrow is the way.

Based on what you said, I can see that you have no understanding of Rightly dividing the Israel program (Law) from the Body of Christ (Grace). So I recommend you to learn these things first before listen to this teaching or else you would be confused.

@@duydatyds Except you cannot separate grace from the moral law. The reason we even need grace to begin with is because we have broken this law, which starts in our hearts, and ends up in actions. God gives us grace, which includes repentance, forgiveness, and transformation of mind and character, which is the law being written in our minds and hearts. To teach anything less than this is a watered down gospel that doesn’t include the power of God. God saves sinners from sin, not in sin. Jesus said, “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:20. This is total transformation of character. Christ in us. It’s not our work, but God’s work that changes us. But we have a part to play. We stay close to Jesus, studying His words, which are His thoughts.

@@KingArtexerxes You didn't put Heb 10:16 into context: Heb 10:12-16 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. 15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, 16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; 17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more. You see that? In Heb 10:16 right there? You see what it says? "AFTER THOSE DAYS" That means AFTER THE TRIBULATION. You don't rightly divide. Hebrews is written to tribulation saints. Not body of Christ members in the dispensation of GRACE. Unless of course you'd like to lie and say you no longer sin in the flesh? Cuz you do. I don't need to meet you. I know you do. GRACE and peace in the LORD Jesus Christ. Good day.

@@Matt-ir1ky Talk about taking things out of context!!!! You need to study all of Hebrews more closely. For one, those words were penned in the Old Testament and Paul was reminding us how it has found fulfillment now with Christ, not sometime in his future. If you think you must go on sinning (willingly) now, then you will forever remain lost. While it is true that as humans, bent on sin, as it is in our nature, we are to constantly struggle against such nature and enlist God to help us overcome our natures. This is where we must take up our cross. Much of Hebrews speaks of that, and Paul speaks of that almost exclusively. 26 If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, 27 but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. 28 Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace? Then… 38 And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” 39 For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will judge his people.” But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved. This is saying we must have faith that Jesus is working to sanctify us right here and now. Not that we could ever say, I am holy and righteous, no, of course not, but that He is at work in me towards that end. And I am fully cooperating with Him, doing my part in giving up my sins, becoming more and more like Him each and every day. Living in the Spirit, and not in the flesh. To do less than this is called trampling the Son of God underfoot.
