When it says “extend your soul to the hungry then your light shall dawn in the darkness, that your darkness shall be as the noonday! If you feed the hungry the Lord will guide you! “I have never thought about God taking away darkness in my soul! I just saw it was to satisfy their hunger!

Where I live in the UK. I am only aware of homeless people who have issues with drugs. The system in the UK tends to find people some sort of accommodation. It maybe a studio apartment (1 bedroom) but it is a roof over your head. The poor get government assistance. I was thinking would it be OK to give to charity? At times when I am evangelising I offer food to those on the streets but they push it away and request money instead. I am trying to think of those who are in need and how I can find them and help them.
