After hearing 1:35 I do t know if I should just throw my guitar away or start practicing 😭 Edit: hours later I decided to practice and I can play the groove including the move at 1:35 flawlessly. Just goes to say don’t be discouraged when someone is ahead of you, instead be inspired to get there too now go practice!

What I enjoy here, it's about feel and timing, not showing off a1000 notes per second. Very musical and what beautiful motives in the accompaniment. No, a simple " awsome" would be an understatement, very good from the Heart, greetings Vic.

Two black Americans of what I assume to be a generation apart playing blues guitar in the style and tradition of Ali Farka Toure'... Anyone not familiar with Toure' I strongly suggest you check him out. He is from the west African nation of Mali, who has since passed... At certain points in the video I adore the look on Melanie's face. A look of innocence when she turns to Sharkey, sometimes smiling and sometimes as if questioning, as if looking for guidance from the more experienced elder... She doesn't really need to but maybe she does out of respect. Melanie Faye can very well hold her own for what she does. I 'm luv'n this groove!

I'm one of the biggest John Mayer fans and I would say if anything, yes this sounds like it's inspired by him, but just remember who inspired John Mayers sound then get back to me on who you think these 2 sound like. I can just feel it a small town bar in the 60s/70s your typical guests in there dancing around ordering rounds while smoke fills the air, that's what I get from this and that's the difference. You guys aren't really hearing the sounds and feeling the art and once you do, you'll get chills and appreciate this type of guitar playing instead of judging.
