I have never related to something more. My girlfriend came out to her parents. Two weeks ago. i've got more scenes with cris and joana and could've easily given them more but i didn't want any remake to ''overshadow '' the others and tbh i still feel like cris and joana got the most scenes because i haven't downloaded many episodes from the other remakes and especially not from italia which is why they unfortunately got less, and i wanted to include all of them as much as possible and give all of them around the same amount of screen time hahah

Rames and Davenzi, the best one. Martino and Niccolò are so underrated and this sucks. I really don't like Crisana: no sex scene, Cris treated very badly Joana, have not had intense discussions and above all no development in their history.

no sex scene? dude the actress was 17, of course they're not gonna show a sex scene! Cris didn't treated Joana very badly, she reacted like a teenager who didn't know how to deal with all the shit in her life! I agree with the intense discussion missing tho. But for me this remake is the one who handled the mental illness the best unlike the Italian one where they simply changed the disease without even thinking about learning about it : they were showing aspects of bipolarity and at the very end, boom the guy has BPD.. like whaaat???

Not because i want to see them naked, but to educate people and show that a wlw couple isn't just a kink for straight men. I don't know if you understand what i mean. Cris treated Joana very badly in my opinion. She called her crazy, like what. They don't speak much, they don't know very well and yeah, they said 'i love you' to each other without a bit of sense. Maybe I hate to admit that they show a mental illness well, but they broke up so many times and it's so annoying. About Skam Italia. For me Niccolò is a very well written character. We know his mum, his hobbies, his fragility and his mental illness is okay. If you read what is a borderline personality disorder, Niccolò reflects this mental illness quite well.

​@allshadesoflove I get your point for the sex scene but I think the representation they gave was pretty accurate of a first wlw relationship with a girl who still discovering her sexuality! But yeah, more intimate scenes would not have been too much.. Yes she called her crazy and it was not a thing to say to a bpd person (and to anyone else either but bc of the MI it makes it worst) but again, she is 16 and yes sometimes you say things you don't mean.. Actually I have BPD so I'm pretty aware of the symptoms and the consequences hahaha, and for me, the Italian version wasn't an accurate version of the illness.. I didn't say Niccolo has a bad writing, I'm just saying that the "mental illness part" wasn't well writing, and for me it's a lack of researches.. On another hand, the Spanish version really showed the aspects of BPD, and they weren't afraid by showing the "worst aspects" because yes they exists and yes it's not easy every day... Maybe that's why people criticize the Spanish version after the fight scene, bc it was to close from reality? idk I can totally recognize myself with Joana, even if it's hard to admit that those scenes are really part of the reality, the actress did a very good job! (sorry for my English btw hahaha, I'm not fluent at all)
