No. You don't win on the day in the time allowed, you lose. Doesn't matter about "what would have happened if", it didn't and he lost.

Nowadays you see guys being disqualified on final for staling in a matter of seconds. In 2018 Isac was world Champion stalling for 10 min.

That was not very smart to try that flashy move at the beginning. Loosing for those 2 points must be hard.

Mil vezes o tommy nessa luta. Esse isaque soh amarrou.. q ridículo. Entrou cheio de marra e não fez nada.
@FraldinhoBJJ5 жыл бұрын
Well isaque stalled his ass off but Langaker just let him and then was obsessed with trying two chokes the entire match and when he gets a clear cut chance to take the two with the sweep he tries a half ass knee bar and ends up on bottom. And he was only down in the first place because he came out and tried a goofy KZbin flying triangle attempt . This was just bad all around
@huilton4 жыл бұрын
If Langaker is better than Isaque , why he couldnt swep Isaque once? and plays on the top? Why he couldnt submit Isaque,he didnt does enought to win, Isaque is a monster.
@FraldinhoBJJ4 жыл бұрын
huilton I hate to say it as a Jiu jitsu purist but sweeps are dead. You sweep by threatening leg locks now. That’s Jiu jitsu . Half ass wrestling and leg locks . And NOONE wants to get in a lame advantage /sweep trading war. He had to deal with what he was given and sometimes If you think you can get the offense going off the back you won’t try a sweep.
@huilton4 жыл бұрын
@@FraldinhoBJJ I hate when guys like You, that dont know nothing about hight level of competition , write a bunch of shit, taking all merit of the winner. Isaque fought 2 times against him and deserved to win booth. Go to do Your research about Isaque tô know who Langaker faced. Isaque is a fucking monster.
@FraldinhoBJJ4 жыл бұрын
huilton literally the feeling is mutual. I actually compete . And have plenty of hardware to shape for it. And I’ve been training since 2007 when you were probably in grade school

anyone who complains about stalling in black belt adult worlds doesn’t understand high level jiu jitsu
@vibovitold3 жыл бұрын
yeeaah.... no that's bullshit pal 1. there are plenty of high level jiu jitsu matches with no stalling involved. not to look too far for an example, Langaker's quarterfinal in the very same WC 2018 (against Tinoco, or is his level not high enough for you) - a pretty awesome confrontation packed with action and sublime techniue 2. there's a big difference between NOT UNDERSTANDING stalling (i can iagine i'd stall too, if i were up on points with WC title at stake), and NOT ENJOYING it (as a viewer, i don't - but it's not because i can't understand the strategy behind it)
